Point it,
nighttime ec should only be done if it helps everyone get better sleep.
If you do
nighttime EC, set up your usual array of tools (potty, dim light or flashlight, etc.) just like you would at home... next to the bed or wherever.
During
nighttime EC, I would nurse and potty at the same time.
I also found
nighttime EC easier than day time EC during the mobile phase, since my son wouldn't resist at night.
Since I didn't practice
nighttime EC till my daughter was over two years old, I experimented with a lot of nighttime cloth diaper solutions.
We haven't started
nighttime EC and don't know if it will work for our family.
I'd love to be able to do
nighttime EC - saves lots of diapers!

I started
nighttime EC with my son when he was 1 - month - old.
We also don't physically place her on the potty; that's her job with our support (we put her on the toilet and also hold her when doing
nighttime ec).
The benefit of doing
nighttime EC is that babies will often start to stay dry through the night at a very young age.

EC» ing families who stated that «sleep trumps potty» when it comes to
nighttime decisions.

nighttimes and naps, or they use nappies / diapers as back - up in case they don t make it to the baby immediately upon awakening.
