However, there is a small amount of wind noise at highway speeds, and on poorly paved roads the roaring noise made by the tires finds its way inside the car.

Road noise is easy to hear and be sure to drive the car on some different road surfaces to hear it as when tires age they get louder so the test drive is as quiet as it will get.

The only issue I have is the dome light makes a chittering noise on occasion (when the car is cold), which I assume is going to be resolved when I take it in this week for an oil change and tire rotation.

Peppy engine, well appointed interior, great sound system, handles road noise well, and the best set of tires on economy class car I have ever seen.

There's a little tire noise on porous road surfaces, but otherwise, it's a very quiet car.

Better still, the sound deadening and noise insulation levels are especially impressive, with overall wind noise and tire roar being particularly well suppressed for a car at this price point.

Noise isolation is excellent whether we're talking about the wind, engine or tires as potential sources, which makes the Camry one of the most silent cars in its segment.

Though wind noise is particularly well suppressed, we are surprised that tire roar is surprisingly obtrusive for a vehicle in this sector of the new car market.

The LC isn't deathly still inside, like the quietest luxury sedans, but it's quiet enough to allow you to easily isolate those things generating noise — tires, air moving over the car, the virile V8, which sounds fabulous.

The car rides very hard though and has a tremendous amount of road noise due to the Run Flat tires - there is so much road noise and the seats are very uncomfortable so I will not be keeping this car when the lease is up.

It drives well and smooth, the gas mileage is good for an SUV but is more than a car, no extra noise, tires are smooth and big

bought it new, so far 85,000 miles not one major problem, it is a little noisy on the highway, tire noise, great in town, one of the best cars I ever owned.

With Audi Drive Select in Comfort, the car can be relaxing with a cabin that's well isolated from wind noise and only a little bit of tire noise from the 20 - inch summer tires finding its way into the interior.

the vehicles were equipped with active noise control and Continental Conti - silent tires were fitted on the car we were driving.

[NOISE] Some others may want safely push the car a little harder possibly during a weekend track day with some modifications or a tire torturing autocross like this one where we're really able to see what this car is made of.

Noise: The sound of wind and tires are noticeable at highway speeds, but Accord is otherwise pleasantly quiet as might be expected in one of these tight little cars.

2nd wk still pulling... took back to the dealer and they found that the left front tire was defective and replaced for free... 2) After ~ 13K miles vibration upon applying brake... dealer stated that rotors needed to be «turned»... I was outside of 12K miles for what Hyundai calls «adjustments» and so had to pay 3) Dashboard cracked - KNOWN PROB WITH AZERAS - this was what was stated by dealer - My car is garaged and was so very disappointed / frustrated that yet another prob - replaced under warranty 4) Loud noise in Engine.

Those big tires with 19» Red Sport exclusive wheels do make a bit of noise when cruising along, more road noise than one might expect from a near $ 60,000 car.

You can't hear the suspension system as its various parts move up and down, and noise from the tires doesn't find its way into the car.

And as the case with any M division vehicle, owners want their cars to make serious noise, so some necessary tire screeching is required.

But other cars we tested came with another brand tires (I forgot brand name), the road noise is relatively harsh.

We didn't test drive the Sport model because we thought it was basically the same car with a sunroof, but I think the Sport model comes with different low profile tires which makes for more road noise than the standard Sonata.

With most of the weight centered around the rear axle, this Teslonda just squats and goes, squealing the tires and making a noise like a giant RC car on steroids.

The car performs very will and we get about 26.5 MPG on the highway The biggest problem I have with the and maybe I should say the tires that came on it, is road noise.

In those high gears at low speeds some rather unnatural noises would emit from the bowels of the car, reminiscent of a tire problem.

At city or highway speeds, road and engine noise is subdued, even while rolling on winter tires, as our test car was.

The big engine means the car sucks gas, the high performance tires mean the ride clunks and road noise roars, and the wheels themselves are so big that they make liabilities of their own.
