The 85 personnel, who were dispatched from the Police Headquarters last week to calm tensions and protect lives and properties
at Dwerebease and Hweehwee after reprisal attacks between
nomadic herdsmen and some farmers, which led to the death of some 8 people, are struggling to access water which they say is affecting their work.
At issue is the right of the
nomadic herdsmen to graze their cattle, which invariably infringes on the right of the farmers to plant and harvest their crops.
