If there's a tinge of regret it's that
none of these films take the concept of a time loop very far.
Not exact matches
As far as Expelled is concerned,
none of that exists and although, yes, the
film does say that they give themselves, the sort
of, the pretense
of not blaming Darwin, you get a couple
of people including Ben Stein saying «
of course no one is saying Darwin cast the Holocaust,» but
of course they then make every possible connection they can; and I think it's interesting that if you
took out those little excuses that said, «
of course no one says Darwin cast the Holocaust,» that is exactly what someone would understand from the
film.
Roberts does bring one nifty new visual idea to the meat - grinding party, a long
take involving a body floating in a swimming pool, but it's not enough to justify even the
film's brief length, and
none of the performances rise to the level
of Tyler's carefully calibrated panic.
Although
none of these
films received unanimously positive critical (or box - office) attention, they did help to further establish Law as an actor to be
taken seriously.
Some
of the humor is pretty dicey (especially the finale, which is a nasty case
of just desserts), and even though the murders that begin the
film are a little rough,
none of this is to be
taken seriously.
Just as I predicted last week,
none of new
films are looking like legitimate competition for Straight Outta Compton to
take top spot again.
Each giant robot and alien looks real and
none of the CGI
takes away from the
film.
I am finding PTA's work becomes more palatable to me as the years wear on, but
none so much as this
film, which seemed to
take his own work to the next level, beyond the shock and awe
of a brilliant wit and into deeper, more personal territory.
He is caught in a moment in which the release
of a technically - perfect and complex
film about the nucleus
of human nature is something we almost
take for granted, a fault that lies entirely within us, or if
none of this applies to you, in me.
An odious correspondance on
none other than Macbeth and his unfortunate demise at the hands
of a man «not
of woman born» is one
of several colorful diatribes the
film unwisely regurgitates for us, but these kinds
of stylized choices
take a particular energy to pull off, and Criminal Activities doesn't have it.

The ensemble was among the most heralded aspects
of the
film and several
of the actors were nominated, yet
none of them were unable surmount the frontrunner and most likely
took second place.
The
film took some big swings, and some
of the decisions made didn't initially sit well with certain people, not the least
of which included
none other than Luke Skywalker actor Mark Hamill.
A combination
of Tolkien's «Hobbit» text and material from his «Rings» appendices, the script, which again saw input from «Rings»
film trilogy co-writers Fran Walsh and Phillippa Boyens,
takes a great deal
of liberties, bringing back familiar characters like Galadriel (Cate Blanchett), Elrond (Hugo Weaving) and Saruman (Christopher Lee),
none of whom appear in the «Hobbit» book, and making ample, ominous mention
of the «Necromancer,» who will evolve to become the dreaded Lord Sauron.
Although the
film lacks an engaging narrative or structure and has
none of the stunningly composed long
takes and bravura performances found in 0.5 mm, Han Han's trademark scepticism and wry reserve still shine through in his first directorial effort.
No dance sequence are
filming for more than a day, which should tell you that
none of the numbers are going to
take up much
of the
film's runtime.
Wikipedia tells me that the
film takes place between 1983 and 1996, yet
none of the characters ever show any signs to aging, clothing and hair styles don't seem to change, and we're never given any dates onscreen.

film takes a three
film structure;
none of which has a beginning, middle and end.
The magic
of their relationship carries over to the
film as a whole, making it easy to accept the more unlikely love stories that linger in the background: one between an English teacher (Wong Kar - Wai cinematographer Christopher Doyle,
taking a turn in front
of the camera) and a prostitute; and Xiaojun's aunt's fond remembrance
of a romance with
none other than William Holden.
After all, counted within the 1994
film's ensemble are
none other than Mood lovers Maggie Cheung and Tony Leung; and with its theme
of romantic longing played against spirited swordplay, admirers
of the box office phenom Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon are sure to
take notice.
There's a moment in the
film where Hawkeye
takes a moment to say, «The city's flying; we're fighting an army
of robots; I have a bow and arrow;
none of it makes sense...» The comment was directed to newcomer Scarlet Witch, but it may just as well have been directed at the audience.
