But
with none on hand I came up with this fantastic recipe, inspired by the flavours of those subliminal peanut treats.
I have
none on hand, but have everything else.Looks like an awesome recipe!
I did not add soy or lemon (
none on hand).
Don't think of eliminating the almonds (I almost did, had
none on hand).
I substituted applesauce for the coconut oil (
none on hand) and they came out great!
I used one shallot instead of the scallions and omitted the jalapeño (
none on hand).
Left out the parsley (
none on hand) and added jicama.
The original recipe called for almond milk, which I would have used, but had
none on hand, so I simply used water.
I'm willing to bet this would also taste delicious on pork, though I had
none on hand to try so you'll have to let me know.
My only substitution was putting Grand Marnier in place of the Cointreau, since we had
none on hand.
3 Stir in floral food, or, if you have
none on hand, a pinch of sugar.
