Players move the party to various cities and locations on the wide area map, which expand when entered, allowing the player to search, converse with
nonplayer characters (NPCs), and take part in combat.
Before the first set of missions is out, you'll have learned how to move, interact with
nonplayer characters, equip items, shoot at enemies, use special skills, assemble an away team, pilot a starship, hail other vessels, allocate shields, prioritize different ship systems, issue orders to your crew and collect the spoils of war, among other things.
Computer science researchers at North Carolina State University and Universidade de Lisboa have developed a tool for use with the game Skyrim that can be used to create
nonplayer characters (NPCs) that allow for more variability and flexibility in game play.
