Hi there — I am planning to make these soon and I have almost everything but was wondering if
normal rice
flour would work too
as I have had some for a while and not been able to use it.
Hi I was just wondering if I used whole wheat
flour instead of
normal flour, if it would change the consistency of the batter and if I would need to add extra liquids to make it the same
as the
normal recipe.
It is new to me too.Do you think it could do
normal cakes such
as chocolates cakes for kids instead tge regular

This muesli is so quick to make
as the oats are milled into a fine
flour, so you don't have to soak them over night like
normal bircher!
For myself, I found that it takes longer than a
normal waffle to cook and the texture isn't ** exactly ** the same
as a
flour - based waffle (not
as fluffy, for example), but that's what one would expect with an oat - based recipe.
Especially
as an alternative to using
normal flour!
Coconut
flour can be used
as a substitute for up to 1/3 the
normal amount of a recipe's
flour.
There is a bag of garbanzo bean
flour in my pantry that I bought to make a variation of falafel (didn't turn out
as good
as using
normal chickpeas so that's why I still have the bag!).
However, the difference it has from
normal bread is that instead of being made with wheat
flour, it is usually made with tapioca

as «cassava»), with the inside being typically chewy and moist, unlike the common bread's drier inside texture.

as poor substitutes for «
normal» desserts (that is, those that contain
flour, eggs, sugar and butter, and are usually baked),
as if their taste and appearance can't match up to a certain idea of what a dessert should be.
(Just be careful not to eat too many things made with the
normal gluten - free
flour as the
flours such
as rice
flour, tapioca
flour etc have high glycemic index and are not good for blood sugar).
You can imagine that after months of being diagnosed with Celiac Disease (also known
as Coeliac Disease) and not being able to eat
normal crepes made of wheat
flour, he literally gobbled these up.
I've made many coconut
flour dishes and (except maybe some brownies) none of these tasted
as «
normal»
as this one!
When sieving
flour, don't use your
normal sieve for the gluten free recipes
as there may be little bits of
flour or pasta caught in the holes.
Lots of ways: eat sugars and
flours that raise the blood sugar levels above
normal; eat Trans Fats; eat, breath, wear, or slather on chemicals that go right to the blood stream; or flood your blood stream with Cortisol (your stress hormone),
as opposed to «managing» your stress via your mind, exercise, yoga, meditation, etc..
For those interested in trying out almond
flour recipes such
as those from Elena Amsterdam, please note recipes would have to be adapted and you will need less of our fine
flour than the equivalent amount of
normal ground almonds.
Although almond
flour doesn't get the same texture and rising ability
as normal all - purpose
flour, it's a much healthier option and filled with delicious fats that can help us reach our nutrient goals for the day.
There is a big variety you can choose from here,
as everything made from
normal flour can also be bought
as a whole grain product: bread, pasta, cereals, cookies etc..
