Normally I would start panicking, but I have been
wearing compression socks and sleeves
on multiple
days to the office.
To stay comfortable, you only need to dress yourself and your child in one less lightweight layer than you'd
normally use —
on very hot
days, you may prefer to
wear a tank top and dress your child in a lightweight onesie.
Normally the parade means lots of beer, half melted green jello shots, me getting lost at some point in the
day, waking up the next morning
wearing the same greens clothes as the
day before, and napping with my head
on the keyboard during the following work

Too bulky (try carrying that heavy sweater or jacket around for hours
on a walking tour once the
day warms up), too fancy (the dresses, jewelry and heels for the «just in case» situations that never materialized) too Not Me (clothes that were more tailored / structured than what I
normally wear, and not comfortable either physically or emotionally).
I
normally wear my mary - janes underneath these pants, but as I would be strolling around Paris for 12 hours
on end and these mary - janes are quite high, I let my mind speak instead of my fashion heart... So I opted for my comfortable Tamaris ankle boots... I know... fashion-wise not the best match, but my feet and back were very grateful to me at the end of the
day!
Understandably, the idea for a non diver to feel claustrophobic while diving is normal - the mask
on your face is said to sometimes make you feel enclosed and give tunnel vision, you also have a lot of kit that you would not
normally wear in
day to
day life, also you are now entering the unexpected as you have not experienced diving before.
