When I asked for this dress from Le Tote I thought it might be a tad dressier than what
I normally wear to work.
Suiting is a departure from what
I normally wear to work, but I think it was my favorite look of the week.
This outfit is a bit dressier than
I normally wear to work but what I'm finding is that unlike many places I've worked NO ONE asks me why I'm so dressed up.
I ended up really liking this outfit and I think the all neutral palate of cream, brown and tan tones down the fact that this skirt is both faux leather and a tiny bit shorter than what I would
normally wear to work.

They are a bit more pricey than I would
normally go for flats, but the fact that they are flexible, colorful, extremely comfortable and that I've not
worn any of my other flats
to work in a month make them worth every penny.

to make the lip color
work with both everyday looks and event / evening makeup, which had it in my purse all month.

to work, which I think is pretty cool.

work and then regular glasses when I get home
to let my eyes rest a little bit.
For tall people this does not
work - I am 5» 10» and
normally wear a 4 but had
to wear the 6 in this dress for length and it still wasn't long enough!
I
normally don't have a lot of time in the mornings
to fuss about an outfit so when I find items that
work for me, I will either purchase 2 or 3 or them in different colors or
wear the same item over and over again.
I'll admit that I haven't been a huge fan of the crop top trend and I
normally wouldn't advocate
wearing a crop top
to work.
Normally on those days I try
to wear dresses and sandals but lately I've been thinking: could I
wear shorts
to work?

I sized down
to an XS and it
worked (I
normally wear S because I'm 5» 7 ″ + super sensitive
to things being too short that my hooha catches a breeze, if ya catch my drift.
Think of all the pieces you'd

wear to work and see if you can't find one or two ways you might
wear them on the weekends!
I'm not one
to normally wear my hair up or back (which I really need
to work on) but once it starts sticking
to your head from sweat and humidity, it's time
to do something.
