If we can't get the
Symphonia Chronicles HD revamp then at least the original on VC would suffice.
It's really hard starting a petition knowing companies don't give a dam about it, but we're
not talking about Tales of
Symphonia or Final Fantasy XV on the Wii U, rather respect that third party developers don't have for us ever since the N64!
Tales of
Symphonia Dawn of the New World (ラタトスクの騎士) was also a Wii exclusive, and didn't get a launch at any other platform until now.
Also sad to still
not see the Xillia 2 or
Symphonia avatars that EU has had for months.
While I love
Symphonia and I wouldn't be disappointed by a Switch port, I do feel slightly fatigued by this title's widespread availability.

Symphonia is one of the most celebrated Tales games from the series, and
not only do you get that, but also its sequel, Tales of
Symphonia: Dawn of the New World, both in one pack.
Bought Mario Party 8 loved it (we'd already rented it for 3 weeks), Alien Syndrome - haven't played it, and Tales of
Symphonia - 2 hours in and really enjoying it.
Since Tales of
Symphonia, the seminal title released on Gamecube, the Tales formula has gotten increasingly familiar, and increasingly
not - as - good - as - the - last.
It also had a sequel for the Wii, Tales of
Symphonia: Dawn of the New World, which no one played; it wasn't...
The combat in Tales of
Symphonia is in a 3D environment, but you are constrained to the 2D plane between you and your currently targeted enemy; but
not all enemies are on the same vector, so while it doesn't end up being fully realised 3D movement, lets just call it 2.5 D.
Don't fret too much over the changes, though - the game serves as a distant prequel to Zestiria (sort of like Phantasia and
Symphonia did) so there's still plenty of things for Zestiria fans to enjoy story-wise.
