Apples are an any
season fruit to me, and cookies are definitely a year round affair too Cripsins, I don't think I've ever tried those.
Nimai and I had a bit of difficulty coming up with something to bake together —
apple pies and crisps often require a combination of sweet and tart
apples, but tart
apples won't be available at Salinger's until later in the
season.
Apple season is my favorite time of year, I could happily subsist eating multiple every day if I wasn't concerned about the balance of my glucose and insulin levels.
I make these croissants all the time and when peaches aren't in
season, I use
