My sentiments say keep him, maybe
not as a first team player but maybe a coach in the youth set up, his technical abilities and love for the game would be good for our young players to learn from.

I see lot of coments about how we can sign Reus «cuz he's a world class
player.Yes, he is a great
player BUT did you see how mutch this season was he injuried? The period when Dortmund win some games and comme forward in the table was the period when Reus was available, rest of the season he was injuried. This is one thing, the other think is that Klopp say he will leave Dortmund in the end of the season and looking for a new chalange.I'm pretty sure that he will leave to a big
team and will take Reus after him.Sterling is exactly the same type of
player as Sanchez, just doesn't have the same experience, he's
not fully developed.I think he can be a
first XI
player for us and I think will be great alongside Sanchez, replacing Cazorla when he will leave.Sterling is an English
player, will be great to see him at nationat
team too, and we need
as mutch
as rest of the big
teams from EPL home grown
players. The coments who say that we have Gnabry and Wellington make me laugh, really?Do you want trophies?Or do you want to see more young
players and waiting year after year to confirm or just see how they doesn't play anything? We are a top
team, and need performance in UCL too,
not just participaiting.Sterling is a young CONFIRMED
player who will definetly help us.Agree that he's
not fully grown but he will be a great
player.
Between the halves, U.S. Coach Buzz Bennett, an earnest young man but hardly closer to

We will end the season with 29
players classed
as overage, 5 of them are goalkeepers (of which 2 min will
not be part of the squad) whilst 4 others are arteta, Debuchy, flamini and rosicky who will surely leave, I also don't expect Sanogo or wellington to be part of the
first team next season
as they are simply
not good enough.
the problem here is that wenger really doesn't give or explain priorities to this
players, they don't even know what to do they just go out there like headless chickens... with ramsey and giroud in the
team... how can we play Chelsea
as we did the
first leg... hmmm... I don't want no thrashing from those blues
We've had
as many

Which, by the way, after 11 seasons

I don't know... 3pl trophies in 20 seasons, no champions league, only made to final once in 18 CONSECUTIVE seasons,
not resected like fergie was in his time, has never defeated jose mourinho even once in his lifetime even after maureen makes fun of him like hell (my God,6 - 0 in his 1000 game - > what a shame), an 8 - 2 loss at old trafford (only reason he bought
players otherwise that season would have been hell), been rated
as one of the wealthiest clubs but we still have mediocre
first team players like giroud, welbeck etc (before u slam me
first answer this - > would they get into bayern, barca, madrid, manure, mancity, psg or even chelsea starting 11 cz we rank the same with them financially)?????.....
Sadly you can

I think that there's more to this than meets the eye, it's
not as if Mertesacker was going to be a

I too love Goretzka and I think we absolutely need a

I see a lot of guys on here evaluating a

Of course I don't expect Arsene Wenger to make such wholesome changes of 5

The Gunners are known to be tracking the French international, who is

His fitness if Arsene Wenger was to want to play Wilshere from the start either should

«I do

Retaining our core

Haven already signed Cohen Bramall for the Arsenal's Under 23 squad, Well, Le Prof has made it categorically clear yesterday in his press conference that he will be quiet during this winter transfer window
not to do any more signing

I've always maintained my stance that Arsene Wenger loves French
players in his
team than any other
players. No matter how average you are once you're French and once you're in the
first team he tends to give you so many chances to prove yourself.I can start mentioning them if you want me to but I know you know them.If Lucas Perez was French he wouldn't have been out so early believe me.I just don't know where to begin. Was Giroud bought to become a super sub or to be the leading striker?Having giving us many sesons of failure people are now content with him being a so called super sub.A
player like Giroud is
not built for that kind of role.He ws a super sub in 99 % of those matches because he was
not played when he was supposed to and we needed presence in the air.The funny thing is people are using only this season to label him
as a super sub. There were so many matched that Wenger should have started Giroud but for some reason didn't start him.I only see Arsenal
as the top club who'd be crying over Giroud. If a good offer comes we should sell.
we have at most 4 real quality outfielders i.e.
players that other top european
teams would take... ozil sanchez santi and kos... in my books you need 6... we are two short but worse the quality of others is lower than needed... only bellerin coq and wilshere have that potential... and there are problems with each still... we should have put in bids in june for griezman kondogbia and the Burussia striker
as all could have been prized away with right bid plus
players thrown in IMO... now its too late and wenger is in some weird gallic world of existential hope and denial and fans are just praying we do
nt lose opening 2 matches for
first time in over two decades... but no one is really confident against a
team which is sure to finish around mid table...
We just ain't good when the opposition closes us down, our
players like space and if you watched the game Spuds when they lost the ball they got it back in seconds working together
as a

teams play like we did at Chelsea
first half of the season,
Come the other year when Arsenal went the whole season without a defeat in the Premier League, Barcelona were attracted by Marc Overmas and Emmanue Petti, the two joined Barcelona, they played few games, and sometime on the bench,
as a result Emmanue Petti decided to go back to England and joined New - Castle and always regret leaving Arsenal, then the other year it was Alexander Hleb, he was the best dribller in Arsenal
team, he went again to Barcelona, he was never given some games, I think he only played few games
as a sub, and his carrier was destroyed by Barcelona, then come Henry, he again went to Barcelona, he played some games but
not like he used to do at Arsenal, he was
not looking like a star
player anymore, he decided to go to America, then there was Fabrigas, he joined Barcelona again, since he was one of their juniors, I think he played for two seasons, and supporter used to booing him, he decided to come back to Arsenal, by then Arsenal had already resplaced him with Ozil, and he joined Chelsea, then come Alexander Song, he pushed to go to Barcelona, he was always on the banch, and never been on
first eleven, then he ended up regreting joing Barcelona, and wanted to go back to Arsenal, but normally Wenger do
not take
players who pushed themselves to be out of Arsenal, lastly there was Vermuleen, he went to Barcelona and ended up
not playing at all but when playing for Arsenal they used to be star
players.

but more importantly it should tell you that wenger no longer has a grasp on the strengths and weaknesses of his
team, or, indeed, what kind of football he is trying to play... heard a lot of people waffling on about the end of tika tak... we never got there because too many
first team players lack the skills to do that kind of football... ramsey walcott giroud merteshaker coquelin are
not that kind of
player... nor do we rapidly convert defence in to attack
as we used to or press
teams in their own half..
In the midfield, (including RWB & LWB) we have a whole bunch of tweeners... none offer the full package, none make sense in our manager's current favourite formation, except for Sead on the left and Ox on the right, and all of them have never shown any consistency for more than a heartbeat... Sead, who I'm including in this category because of our present formation, looks like a positive addition, minus his occasional brain farts, but I would rather see what he could do in a back 4 before making my mind up... Ox, who has never played better, which isn't saying much considering his largely underwhelming play in previous seasons, seems to have found a home in this new formation; unfortunately, can we really expect this oft - injured
player to handle the taxing duties that come with said position over the long haul,
not to mention, it looks like he has no intention of staying... Ramsey has relied on the empathy that stems from his gruesome injury years ago and the excitement that was generated a few years back when he finally seemed to put in altogether, but on the whole he has been a big disappointment (neither he nor the Ox have scored enough to warrant a regular spot)... Wiltshire should be put on a weekly contract then played until he suffers his
first injury, if and when that occurs he should be shipped - out and no one should very be allowed to say his name on club grounds ever again... Elnehy & Coq are average
players who couldn't make any of the top 7
teams currently in the EPL... both have showed some great energy on the pitch, but neither are top quality and no good
team can afford to have that many average
players on their bench playing the same position, especially with Coq's injury history / discipline concerns and Elheny's headless chicken tendencies...
as for Xhaka, his tenure here so far has been incredibly underwhelming... we know he has some skills to provide the long ball but his defensive work is piss poor and he gives the ball away too cheaply and far too often... finally, the enigma himself, Ozil, so much skill with his left foot but his presence has been more frustrating than uplifting... in many respects his failure has been directly related to the failure of this club to provide him with the necessary
players up front, minus Sanchez of course, and unless something drastic happens very soon his legacy will be largely a negative one (much like Wenger's)
OT: Dortmund are making a last ditch attempt to hijack the Jadon Sancho deal from Arsenal. They are telling the
player that they are the best possible
team to give him
first team chances and can improve his career
as a youngster citing Ousmane Dembele
as an example.The
player wants out because he does
not see a clear path to the
first team in Man City.Their actions are possibly slowing down the announcement of a deal for Sancho.Jadon Sancho is regarded by many
as the best U18 talent in UK.
Big in your list I can agree that all these
players would improve us, but let's look at our CB At the moment Kos, top
player but is struggling with a inj which may or may
not heal, at the moment he isn't match fit so
not up to his own high standard, so needs help or a defender of his quality so he can go and recover properly So then we have Mert, too slow and no longer good enough, I'm
not sure if he's even good enough for 3 rd choice CB, too slow, poor on the air for his size and
not brave enough, he's lasted this long due to Kos he needs a Top class CB just to allow him to play against average
teams Ok now Reid
not top class we can all agree so we couldn't really play him with MERT
as he isn't Kos quality so can't cover merits deficiencys He could be ok with Kos but Kos is struggling So is Reid what we need???? And finally Wenger if he has all 3 fit will still play Kos / Mert
first choice Oh and God forbid we play MERT / Reid against the top
teams like Chels / city / utd / Southampton Chuckle chuckle
As witnessed this season with the Away performances against all the teams (bar Palace) in the lower reaches of the League. You could have written Southampton's tactics before the game as it's what most teams do against us.We continue to be unconvincing and like you Anders S I do not offer the excuse of the side being full of replacements for rested First Team player

Do you think if Ozil is guaranteed
first team place he would leave Real Madrid? No they both would
not. What I am saying is, both
players were
not considered
as first team starters at their previous clubs and their clubs wanted to sale them.Thats why Arsenal got them. The same is true for Chec, what I am saying is it easy to get
players that the club has agreed to sell than a
player who is guaranteed a
first team spot.
I would like to say that our CBs were solid and that should be enough to keep him out of the
first team but AW won't do that will he
as he likes
players to keep making the same mistakes over and over again.
Arsenal fans know and understand the policy of Arsene Wenger in resting
first team players in the Capital One Cup games, and even in the FA cup and Champions League games when we can, to give those key men a rest
as well
as giving some valuable opportunities to the up and coming Gunners from the academy and the likes of Debuchy and Gibbs who have
not seen much action so far this season.
lst season at stamford bridge, was the
first time i saw that 4 -1-4-1 formation being used, and for some weird reason i feel a very strange negative vibe and well all know the outcome.the manager has come back with this formation and its
not yielding result, but he still sticks with it.i do
nt know much about formations dear friends, but if you are playing a slow dm in arteta and a very very slow cb, then you are toast against quality
teams with sound tactics.wen playing wellbeck
as a lone striker, i think 4 -2-3-1, will work better, but if we have a big player like oliver (boooos), thn we can try the 4 -1-4-1, thingy cos he can hold the ball for our midfielders to run in.but on the overall, shame on wenger for not giving our defence a good cover DM.NO BODY PLAYS A SLOW DM / CB AND EXPECT TO B REGARDED AS CHAMPIONSHIP MATERIAL.IT HURTS GUYS, REALLY HURT

I expect a lot from Adelaide already, he should be the closest to the
first team by now, but I personally du
n no his position, maybe CM or LW... In
teams like Monaco, he will already be in the
team as he has the signs of a good
player, he displays confidence and maturity.....
Since his arrival in Madrid the Spanish
player has
not managed to establish himself
as a
first team regular — he has had very few minutes on the pitch and has scored only one goal.
I don't mind if we go out of this so long
as he rest all
first team players.
There have been a fair few reports about the Ox being ready to go because of his lack of
first team game time in recent years and the idea that Arsene Wenger does
not have
as much faith in the
player's ability
as he would like, so how does the Frenchman go about convincing the 23 - year old that staying put and snubbing the chance to join Chelsea is his best bet?
Up front we have a few world - class
players surrounded by some serious pretenders... Sanchez is by far the most accomplished
player in our attack but the controversy surrounding his contractual mishandling could see him go before the window closes or most definitely by season's end... obviously a mistake by both parties involved,
as Sanchez's exploits have never been more on display than in North London, but the club's irresponsible wage structure and lack of real intent have been the real undoing in this mess... Lacazette, who I think has some world - class skills
as a front man, will only be
as good
as the
players and system around him, which is troubling due to our current roster and Wenger's love of sideways passing... Walcott should have been sold years ago, enough said, and Welbeck should never have been brought in from the get - go... both of these
players have suffered numerous injuries over their respective careers and neither are good enough to overcome such difficulties:
not to mention, they both are below average
first - touch
players, which should be the baseline test for any
player coming to a Wenger - led Arsenal
team... Perez should have been played wide left or never purchased at all; what a huge waste of time and money, which is ridiculous considering our penny pinching ways and the fact that fans had been clamoring for a real striker for years... finally Giroud, the fact that he stills wears the jersey is a direct indictment of this club's failure to get things right... this isn't necessarily an attack on Giroud because I think he has some highly valued skills, but
not for a
team that has struggled to take their sideways soccer to the next level,
as his presence slows their game even more, combined with our average, at best, finishing skills... far too often those in charge have either settled or chosen half - measures and ultimately it is us that suffer because no matter what happens Wenger, Gazidis and Kroenke will always make more money whereas we will always be the ones paying for their mistakes... so every time someone suggests we should just shut - up and support the
team just think of all the sacrifices you've made along the way and simply reply... f *** off
Some fans are mentioning Chambers
as a potential DM in important fixtures... The boy just arrived at Arsenal and he is already a big part of the squad (3 possible positions)... Just to say that a 19yo is a major piece of our
team, it says a lot about the ambition and the status of the club (and this is a talented
player who was
not a
first team regular at Southampton, but that is
not a problem... If he is good he is good).
Was it Ospina's fault to
not clear the cross or let the opposition striker get upon yourselves to head the ball in the net... No our defenders couldn't defend that in
first place... Even though Ospina tried to push the ball out of the net... but we were just unlucky... because it went inside... And goal line technology reported it
as a goal... We were wasteful against the opposition goal... fair enough, it happens, but how come the
players suddenly become useless for the
team...
I don't really blame any of those
players at all,
first mistake from Wenger was his
team selection and secondly wrong
players in a wrong position,, its quite sad with all their mouths and boasting of starting the season strongly and aiming for the league just a waste of energy and wishful thinking, am putting the whole blame on Wenger, where is Belerin, why Ozil, Cazorla played out of positions, you should know their weaknesses and strength
as a coach, why must we pass and pass to score a goal, many opportunities came from shooting distance but the
players will always be looking for the next person to pass the ball to, its quite unfortunate that a big club like arsenal is relying on a scrappy Giroud to lead an attack of a
team aiming to win the league.
giroud, lecoq, are gud backups to hve in the squad but
not a
first team player for a
team wanting to challenge for epl.coq has got to improve slightly on the ball but off the ball he is gud.everyone knows about giroud and I don't think a gud striker is enough for us.we need a very clinical guy
not a guy who will be going through dry patches coz thats guaranteed from a gud striker.gibbs is tricky he is a gud option to hve on the bench but if we scout someone younger and better than him then I think we can sell him for both the clubs sake and himself coz he hasn't progressed
as a
player.what I find shocking is bellerin back up is jenkinson worth a
team challenging for epl?I don't think so and we should find an able guy there than fool ourselves and next season we pay for mistakes again.
I agree that he WAS a youngster once
as were Ramsey, Wilshere, etc, but he didn't become a proper
first team player til 2 years ago.
I'm so sick of people telling those of us who are disgruntled fans to relax and give this club time to correct itself... for anyone who believes that taking a wait - and - see approach is appropriate at this juncture they should take a good long look at themselves in the mirror because they are a big part of the problem... no other «big» club's fans would stand for this shit for nearly
as long
as we have... think about it, we've witnessed a changing of the guard at every major club in England, Spain, France and Germany in the last several years because those «big» clubs failed to live up to expectations (Barcelona, Real Madrid, Bayern, PSG, Chelsea, ManU, ManCity etc...)... for some reason, many fans have become
as fragile
as our current manager, believing that there couldn't possibly be a suitable replacement, even though everyone of these clubs have found multiple replacements and still achieved far more than our club... this mindset has been created by an organization that has been milking it's fans, telling countless lies (no world class
players available) and lowering expectations every since they rolled out the biggest lie of all: that we couldn't spend because of the new stadium but once it was paid off we could compete with any
team in the world... this organization is rotting from the inside out and if we don't demand that those in charge put soccer
first this despicable behaviour won't end with Wenger's ridiculous 2 year contract... I think the real fear isn't that a suitable replacement doesn't exist, but that this organization is so money hungry and poorly mismanaged that we will sink even lower by choosing our next coach the same way they choose our
players, on the cheap... even so, we need to see what mustache will do if left to his own devices so he will have to show his true colours... only then can we purge this club and start anew
If I was undecided before now, now I am certain Wenger's been right all with his approach of
not signing prima donnas who think that they are bigger than the
team, it's refreshing to see a
player with
as much enthusiasm
as Sanchez but at some point discretion and good sense has to prevail, afterall he and Ozil are Barca and Madrid rejects, I would take RvP and Fabregas over him and Ozil,
players we didn't have to pay over the odds for,
players who despite the circumstances of their exits understood the
team comes
first.
4) yes Keita: he's got a release clause that get's activated next year it's around 45 mil if I remember correctly, i highly rate him
as the all rounder Dm / Cm / Am does it all and can fill the cazorla void instantly, for anyone that are reading the 70 - 80 million valuation I don't see any
team paying that, but making him the most expensive African
player will sure tempt him to move Bid 45 mil with add ons and there is a big chance of getting him, if they don't accept that offer to make a red bull commercial that should boost the sales of that terrible tasting energy drink, Sanchez Ozil Ramsey ox bellerin wenger it's time to get drinkng that's Just good marketing for redbull, a
team with no history or fans shouldn't have a say in who to keep in the
first place they are a stepping stone to bigger things and we are the
team to make you world class, wan na eventually play in barca or real look at our track record we will get you there!!
We lost against Watford we expect to win against Chelsea are we serious???? I dreamed we lost 4 1 I could
