not be our main striker.

N'T be our main striker 2) we need to play with a proper left winger 3) we need PACE?!?!?!?!?!?!

not be our main striker next season.
Not exact matches
Main strikers mostly aren't the goal scorers nowadays.
I know we
're short in central midfield, but Arsenal would actually
be better off playing with a man less, than having Ramsey on the pitch, and Giroud proved over a whopping FOUR YEARS, that he isn't good to
be our
main striker.
(Yes I know we have Sanchez, but as last year proved he
is not a
striker, and shouldn't really
be expected to
be the
main goal scorer especially when he
is not leading the line)
poor signings and allowing unnecessary sellings of players
not based on team needs When Cr7
is not scoring and marcelo and casemiro become
strikers over their
main roles in the team... Players play what coaches tell them especially positioning and movements... Hard days
are ahead with PSG looming..
With his doubles against Sunderland and Burnley, the 25 - year old has bagged eight goals in those six games and for a player that does
not even play as the
main central
striker, it just shows you how good Alexis
is and the fantastic form he has found since swapping La Liga for the English Premier League.
As long as Giroud
is our
main striker we will
not win any major trophy.
But that
's not an excuse to rely on Giroud as our
main CF.. He
's proven ever season that he
's only good as a back up
striker and
not one that can carry the team to win the title.
My
main question
is why Wenger sold Podolski if he couldn't find a
striker?
Giroud's
main role as the central
striker, believe it or
not,
is to occupy the defenders and give our fluid and ever changing formation a focal point.
goodness i can't believe it people will still defend him.You know something when Giroud misses many chances like at Monaco i did
not criticize him even based on that you know why?its because he has always
not been clinical. The only way a team can improve
is by indentifying its problems and solving them.Arsenal has Giroud as the
main cf and Welbeck as backup to him.Giroud has done well scoring some goals some too important but collectively he does more harm than good.Do
not use moments to judge a player judge him based on content.Giroud does
not excel in many games than he excels in games. As a
main cf you need to
be consistent.I see people here saying Giroud can
not dribble he cant do this he cant do that but its a bit crazy to criticize him for that because every player has his own style.Giroud limitations as a player costs arsenal and will cost us a lot. Most importantly his poor finishing which has cost us several times.
Not good enough. His style of play
is ok for us but a
striker who can take on players and run behind defences very well would make us very strong and also should
be clinical. For Welbeck he needs to works on his finishing and composure by doing the basic things right. He rushes infront of goal too much. For now he
is just above average. However he can excel if he works on improving.Giroud and Welbeck will always
be a pain in arsenal's neck for most part. Some will call me stupid but hey at least i want to analyze the problem.People may support Giroud or Welbeck to lead the line next season but as the saying goes if you fool me once shame on you but if you fool me twice shame on me.Will you let Giroud and Welbeck fool you again?
End of Transfer window: We could
not find a stiker in this transfer window, so we have
been working hard with Theo and Sanogo who will play as the
main striker this season.
Giroud
is good
striker but he should
be our # 2 and
not main.

's why they did
not succeed as the
main strikers at Arsenal.
But don't
be pessimistic about Welbeck as our
main striker.
And
not only that he does that, but he uses Welbeck, a guy who fails to score a goal even if it
's just him and the goal, as the
main striker, even though he has Giroud on the bench, a guy who scored a goal in the first game.
He admitted that he
was desperate to buy another top defender in January (although I don't think we tried hard enough personally) to try and stop so many silly errors by our back line, but he has made it his
main priority to bring in more
strikers to add to our «goals for» column.
Watch a program (about transfers - Same program where I learned about Ozil transfer) on Canal + and they
are again talking about «secret» negotiations (well they
are not anymore, I guess) that might have started just after Benitez nomination... Apparently Benitez would prefer Ronaldo as a
main striker (and a most defensive system).
Add that to the fact's that he
is only looking for a
striker because of Danny Setbeck's longterm injury and that Giroud will
be our
main striker next season, So the answer to this equation
is» Don't expect much» (Start looking for a fourth and fifth choice?)
Sorry he
was not trusted as your
main striker.
It
is not his fault that he
was our
main striker for two years.
Don't have a
main striker — should
be buying one — if we don't, Giroud will continue to waste a lot of the good work done by our very talented midfield.
He will
be our
main man despite the fact that he doesn't even feature in the top 10 best
strikers in the PL IMO.
I
was saying if we get another goal scoring winger like Sanchez it won't matter if our
main striker (giroud) gets 20 goals.
Would it
not be a good idea to have him play as our
main striker, whereby he can
be useful in converting more of our chances on a regular basis?
now add ManU, I don't even know if Martial or Rooney
is their
main striker... Liverpool??? We
are close to City in that we can still at least spread the goals If there
is really a top top
striker available, u'd expect Man U / Man city to swoop him
I cant imagine he will leave for the same type of money that they bought him for as with ffp rules and his scoring these days
being very good for a winger but
not so much for
main striker and also people will
be looking at Falcaos case.
I too have much regard for Giroud but we
are never going to win the title with his standard as
main striker, despite his relative success and at 31 he can
not be expected to play third fiddle behind the LACAZETTE and P - MA.
I even thought top clubs
were in for him. Some three or 2 seasons back many here
were debating why he should
be our
main striker. As soon as you mention any other
strikers name people would come out with stats and many things defending him.Even Wenger has defended him blindly in the past.People say Wenger
's stubborn yeah. But don't we know that there
's a reason why everything happens?Honestly speaking he
's the reason why Arsene Wenger has failed to sign a top notch
striker because he still believes in him.The funny thing
is we signed Welbeck at that time who to me did nothing before to
be the
main man here.People keep saying Welbeck
is hardworking and that he works his socks off.But the question
is was that our reason for signing him.Welbeck
being signed to challenge Giroud tells me a lot about Giroud
's quality.Even Walcott (no offence to him) who has zero CF qualities
was even chosen over him for a string of games and all in all I think he did well but has too many defeciencies for that role. We've compromised as a club and it'll come back to bite us.
I think Wenger will keep him, and I wouldn't
be surprised if Giroud
was our
main striker yet again for next season, considering how Wenger usually performs in the transfer windows, coupled with his unwavering loyalty to certain players.
Wenger's 1st choice
striker is out for most of the season (this
is probably the
main reason, had OG
been fit we wouldn't have signed him people).
No matter what you think of the Frenchman, and it
is clear that many Gooners and pundits believe we can never win the title with Oli as our
main striker, you can
not deny that he has a great habit of popping up with a goal when we most need it.
AKBs will attack by saying OG
is the
main striker for the France national team; but our style of play
is not like France so when we need prolific
strikers, don't compare based on who plays and who doesn't for France..
Players that
are always OK with the FA cup and 4th trophy
are signing new contracts everyday, those that wants to win major trophies see that those silverware can
not be won with such players, OG as
main striker..
But chill out, Arsene won't buy him or any other
striker just like last season as he
is going to count on Giroud and Sanogo as our
main strikers and guess what!
I like Giroud, his stats
are good and comparable to vardy and kane but there
is something missing, perhaps it
is making a goal out of nothing, but I can
not se us winning the league with giroud as our
main striker.
Me too, haha the guy won't make it, if Wenger thinks we can win he league with him upfront as our
main striker with Giroud injured then he
's got dimensure.
Also his scoring rate
is not very prolific for the
main striker of a team the stature of Arsenal.
Theo and Oli
are both
not good enough to
be our
main strikers.
I don't see anyone fitting this criteria especially when you consider that
striker knows the
main reason they
are being purchased
is to cover largely for Danny welbeck.
Fact
is, Giroud + Sanogo will
not score more goals than Aguero + Dzeko and Costa + Drogba hence if Giroud and Sanogo
are gonna
be Arsenal's
main strikers, Arsenal has a very small probabilty to win the title.
He may
be good as a backup but
not as our
main striker.
England's
strikers are Rooney, Sturridge and Kane and right now they have a better goal scoring record than Walcott and they
are actually
strikers that
is their
main position. So don't expect England to play Walcott as
striker.
But didn't he play quite well in the fall when he
was the
main striker?
With him
being the
main striker, but
being saved the whole hustle and bustle of big CBs only to make the right run and sneak in with a goal when neccesary, only that he doesn't offer the defensive cover Ramsey would and wouldn't stretch the opposition anywhere near as much as the Ox would if you need him to keep a fullback busy.
In my opinion, I think Walcott and even Sanchez
are strikers but
not main CFs... To get the best of Walcott, he should
be played in a two
striker formation.
