The one downside is that you can

If you switch your
wallpaper to another lighter color, things don't
change much, but if you switch to one that is primarily dark, Android makes some pretty major

not for concealment, just to

... oh my... the curtains do bother me... i like the
wallpaper and the furnishings... usually it is the tiny things in a room that set me on edge... i would
change the hydrangeas to the left on the desk between the windows... somehow that anchors the love seat facing the fireplace and makes a better boundary for that seating area... i am strangely picky about things like that... and i would place something larger and darker on the bottom shelf of the coffee table... that way the table does
not seem to float away... i love the lamp... this is fun...
I say don't
change a thing from the original vision (you know, the one with the darling
wallpaper (I heart this...) and the striped duvets and the built in beds.)
It's still
not done but we've definitely made a lot of progress from painting the trim, doors and the walls, to adding beadboard
wallpaper,
changing out the light fixture and adding some new chairs!
The photos aren't much to look at because I know there is still so much more to do in here... notice the polka dot plaster marks and seams that haven't been mudded but for us this room represents so much
change since last spring when we had old windows that let in amazing amounts of cold air and really faded and dirty
wallpaper.
Unlike paint, if you dislike the
wallpaper already installed on your walls, you suddenly
changed your mind, or you just want something different, you can't just paint over it.
I don't even know how many times I painted it,
wallpapered it, rearranged the furniture,
changed the bedding, etc..
Every room and wall of the house had
