not crapware.

Crapware (aka bloatware) is kept to a minimum, and the Velocity Micro didn't bundle the system with a lot of the upgrade offers that seem to pervade machines from big - box retail competitors like HP, Gateway, and eMachines.
That's fine, but we hope they don't go too crazy and load the device down with a bunch of unwanted
crapware.
If you don't like some of the progs on there, download z4root, and superuser, then you'll be able to remove said
crapware.
And
not having to deal with all the
crapware that normally comes with new Dell systems made getting the Z35 up and running so much easier.
More likely than
not Nintendo is going to do with the Wii U exactly what they did with the Wii, which is the only new IPs will be casual
crapware and then they will pump out the obligatory Mario, Metroid, and Zelda sequels and expect that the Core crowd is going to be kept satisfied with that and nothing else.
i'll be honest, i skipped it when i saw it on XBLIG, because there's so much
crapware on there with such an unreliable ratings system i wasn't sure if it was actually good or
not.
The ADS - 2000 comes with PaperPort SE (though you don't need to use it), which is barely a step above
crapware, and it definitely doesn't make up for the lack of TWAIN.
What we're
not sure quite yet is what antivirus for Mac is even worthwhile and blocks this type of stuff — on Windows, most antivirus doesn't block bundled
crapware and adware at all, because they are legal since you had to agree during the install process.
Just like on Windows, you don't have to look any further than CNET Downloads to find bundled
crapware... even for Mac.
As you'd expect, the Windows team didn't let HP get away with preloading tons of
crapware.
These applications have been verified by Apple and should be just fine to use, and definitely won't come with any bundled
crapware or adware.
Even though we've shown that malware, adware,
crapware, and spyware is getting increasingly worse on OS X, that doesn't mean that you necessarily need to worry or go out and install Linux or do something drastic.
So you either have bundled
crapware that hijacks your browser, or you don't get to install that app.
And we're
not saying that this is malware or
crapware or anything like that.
This doesn't solve the issue of applications that you do want to install having bundled
crapware that requires opting out by default.
Yeah, the places where you can trust you're gonna get a phone without a ton of
crapware are Apple phone, buying a phone directly from Google, this Essential phone doesn't have anything on it.
Note that we aren't talking about Ninite (which we do recommend) in this article because that isn't so much a download site as it is a service to install software while skipping the
crapware.
So why put up with all the
crapware, system administration, and other junk if you don't need it?
We actually talked to the owner of MajorGeeks about this, and he said that if he only listed freeware downloads that don't contain bundled
crapware, he'd have almost no downloads to list and would just have to close up shop.
So while they aren't providing
crapware on every single thing, they also aren't really very user friendly either.
Whenever we download a free software, if we are
not careful, we often end up with some
crapware, potentially unwanted programs, bundleware, unwanted toolbars, a new search engine or home page.
But it didn't take very long to find something that is bundling
crapware.
This doesn't actually solve the «
crapware» problem for everyone.
These are
not freeware — but bundleware as the push
crapware on to your Windows computer.
The best thing is that it does
not require an install and does
not bring additional
crapware, PUPs or toolbars like most of the other free software do.
Whenever you install a new program, this tool will become proactive and spontaneous, and deselect the irrelevant offers, which will
not only save you a lot of mouse clicks, but also keeps your system away from the unwanted adware, PUPs and other
crapware.
Sadly most antivirus programs won't remove
crapware and adware, because they aren't technically malware since at some point you got tricked into clicking Accept on a screen when you should have turned off the computer and thrown it out the window instead of installing freeware from shady websites.
In short, programs that are
not of relevance to you are
crapware for you.
This process doesn't happen with iPhones because Apple makes the OS for the hardware and they don't let the carriers put
crapware on iPhones.
It does
not include any 3rd - party offers nor does it push
crapware.

crapware is
not over.
The total package isn't as cluttered here as on the original Carbon — Windows 8 seems to have forced manufacturers to ease back a little, and nothing is as constantly interruptive as the Carbon's software was — but
crapware still abounds on the Carbon Touch.
