Cyborg was under contract with the UFC Ronda's entire career, Ronda could have fought her at any time, by her own admission she simply wouldn't unless she was contractually obligated to, and from what I understand
Cyborg originally accepted to fight her at 135, but the UFC wasn't willing to pay what she was asking, that is where the whole Invicta / catchweight thing started.
What's the problem here other than a few fans trying to hold on to
Cyborg refusing to make 135 as an excuse why the Ronda fight didn't happen, which by Ronda's own admission wasn't the deciding factor.
Also Cris and Evangelista
Cyborg / Santos were married and both competing professionally, just
not for the UFC however.
Considering the fact that Holly Holm is probably the biggest WMMA star that
Cyborg could face, I really feel like this fight was the pinnacle for
Cyborg and I don't think it would be wise of the UFC to have her headline any other PPV's here on out.
