Not that it had gone
into the hibernation
mode but for a while it was the Android
tablets that were found hogging the limelight with the biggies in the business seemingly having no qualms taking the back seat.

For the same effect, you have to flip the Book One
into tablet mode, something Microsoft's laptop can't do.
The speaker only goes
into pairing
mode if you turn it on and it can't find the device with which it was previously paired; in other words, if you pair it with your phone, then want to pair it with your
tablet, you have to turn off your phone's Bluetooth to put the Anker back
into pairing
mode.
A laptop that can convert
into tablet mode is a really smart gift for a new grad, particular if you couldn't decide between getting them a
tablet or a laptop.
Last year's X1 Yoga had a frame that snapped up around the keyboard to lock the keys in place when you put it
into tablet mode — you could still feel the keys, but they wouldn't depress as you gripped the convertible.
It's
not perfect because to put the
tablet into sleep
mode via the double tap, you need to be outside of an app.
In fact, I don't even think I need to go
into tablet mode anymore.
Smart Stay is the now overhyped feature that should put your
tablet into Sleep
mode if, using the front camera, it detects that your eyes aren't watching the screen.
If you don't, it's designed to put apps
into a kind of standby
mode whenever you're
not using your smartphone or
tablet - if your device is still for an extended period of time then Google puts your apps
into a special low - power
mode, reducing the strain on the battery.
Note: the idea of Windows 8 is that it's a lot more like an iPad or similar gadget — you don't need to shut it down entirely, because it will go
into a low power
mode when you shut the laptop lid, or hit the power button on a
tablet.
The rebooting occurs whenever the
tablet goes
into sleep
mode while
not plugged in to its charger.
In case your
tablet enters
into a boot loop, or it doesn't boot in normal
mode after an hour, then you will be forced to try and repeat the whole guide more than once.
