I didn't expect the cookies to be as
light and fluffy as they are, especially without baking
powder but maybe it's all the citrus.
-- Canned and powered foods can be your best friend when cooking isn't possible, so stock up on the following: Canned fruit in 100 % juice or
light syrup; canned; vegetables (low sodium); natural peanut butter and / or nut butter; canned beans, lentils, and chickpeas; canned lean proteins like tuna in water; and dry
powdered skim milk.
Would love to supplement with algae, but I'm afraid the omega 3 and 6 from algae
powder is prone to oxidation and gets rancid before I get to eat it, as it does
not come
light and air sealed in capsules like Krill Oil.
I'm
not the recipe developer, but I'd imagine you could sub unflavored gelatin and a sugar free
powdered drink mix like Kool - aid or Crystal
