The issue of other additives exists because we use processed stevia,
not pure stevia leaves.

When
not in serious detox mode, I like to make a morning smoothie treat a few times a week using raw cacao, almond or coconut milk, a banana and
pure stevia to sweeten with hemp seeds, chia seeds and ice.
Finally, to sweeten the cookies, I used
pure stevia along with a few other special goodies including NuNaturals chocolate
stevia syrup as a decorative topping, but you can easily leave off the syrup if you don't have any.
(I use
pure stevia leaf powder as a sweetener which would
not add to consistency).
Ok this my first time making this... i am
NOT a
stevia person, so i put in organic
pure dark maple syrup I also added some spearmint Doterra essential oil and sprinkled walnuts on top!

I don't bake with
pure stevia because I find it is very bitter, though I will use it to cut the amount of sweetener required by about half.
Stevia has a very sweet flavour but because it's
not a sugar it doesn't mix with the rest of the flavours in the same way
pure maple syrup does.
Using
pure white
stevia extract (
not the packets) is my personal preference since it does
not alter the way baked goods rise or set.
In a bowl, mix the oats, coconut flour, oat bran, flax, raisins, baking soda, ginger, cloves, cinnamon and
pure stevia powder (
not extract or powders with fillers).
1/2 teaspoon

* Depending on if your protein powder is sweetener or
not, you may also need to add some sweetener (I suggest
pure stevia liquid or extract) but my protein powder that I use in this recipe has just the right amount of sweetness, so I didn't use any added sweeteners here.

You could also use a little
pure maple strup instead of

I like
pure organic
stevia in some applications (like coffee and tea where you just need a bit), but it doesn't provide the right texture in this recipe, so it's important
not to sub the maple with that without adding some other sort of liquid, which I haven't experimented with.
It's spiced but subtly so, so as
not to overpower the delicate flavour of the mango, and the woody flavour of the
pure green
stevia (other forms are good too) goes really well with the mango.
LOVE that you don't live on
pure air and can relate to the rest of us with an undying love of sweet (I also use
stevia & coconut sugar).
Be on the lookout during this challenge for: dextrose, maltodextrin, sucrose, fructose, cane sugar, evaporated cane juice, acesulfame potassium (sold as Sweet One — often combined with aspartame or sucralose to sweeten gum, diet soda and other sweet products), aspartame (Nutri - sweet and equal), saccharin (sold as Sweet
n» Low),
stevia (combined with sugar alcohol and sold under brand names like Truvia and
Pure Via), erythritol (a sugar alcohol derivative of corn) xylitol, brown rice syrup (and other syrups), high fructose corn syrup (made by treating starch extracted from corn with enzymes to make fructose and glucose)-- and if there's anything on a food label that you think might be sugar, google it.
I also use it with almond milk or coconut milk, 1/4 avocado and some berries or coffee,
pure cream (I am allergic to the protein -
not the cream) and
stevia in the Vita Mix for a very creamy shake or a little thicker for a faux yogurt - almost ice cream consistency.

As you can see there's a huge range, starting from
stevia that doesn't move the needle at all, right up to
pure glucose at 100.
I also like
stevia because it doesn't mess with my blood sugar and isn't artificial, however, I definitely recommend using
pure stevia without fillers if you choose to do the same.
You could also use a little
pure maple strup instead of
stevia if you don't like
stevia.
It is
not surprising that an increasing number of health - conscious consumers bypass white and brown sugar,
stevia, agave syrup and honey in the grocery store in favor of
pure Canadian maple syrup for health benefits in their diet.

My favorite brand of
pure stevia is easily NuNaturals brand of
pure stevia which I have used faithfully for years now, although it isn't organic.
I know most brands that sell
stevia don't sell it in it's
