The fear of the great nothing is too much for my mind to bear, and I can sleep at night by convincing myself that the absolute nothing we all face one day will instead be full of happy choirs of angels, reward for any suffering I've endured, punishment of the wicked and evil (it pains me to think those who cause so much evil will
not suffer for eternity, so hell is a great comfort too), and that I'll get to see all those I currently miss since the death of friends and family are so painful.

I personally believe that there is an afterlife... and if God tells me, «I made you to
suffer for 100 years on earth
for an
eternity with me,» I can't say that I'd complain to the guy.
I'm
not entirely certain how that makes me a terrible person, deserving to
suffer for all
eternity, but that's what christians say is in store
for me.
Worse, you tell you children that if they do
NOT believe, they will go to hell and
suffer for eternity.
The Second Death that is referred to in the Bible is the return to complete nothingness because if one believes that Jehovah will permit anyone to
suffer for an

not believe that this same God is the epitomy of Love.

There is one main requirement
for your heaven - believe in this god or
suffer for eternity (don't try to twist it... it is what it is and you are

The difference is atheists don't want to hear it that according to you, we're going to scream and

I've always disagreed, and think that even if there is a heaven, I'll be there when I die, because any actual god worth having doesn't need or want your belief, and wouldn't keep a good person to their core out of heaven... let alone burn and
suffer for eternity in hell.
Wonderful teacher... get out your Bible and start reading... this guy is a wolf in sheep's clothing leading millions to an
eternity in hell... the prosperity gospel he teaches is contrary to the teachings of Christ... Christ talked about abundance in life but he was speaking of spiritual abundance
not material things... Scripture and Christ said in this life you will have trouble... Christ
suffered in this life as did each of his Apostles... open your eyes before it is too late
for you.
Some of us look forward with great eagerness and expectation
for when Jesus will come again to throw off the evil governments and set up His own righteous rule, but
not before He slays our enemies, kills the wicked, bathes the world in bloodshed, burns away all those who did
not follow Him, and banishes the unrighteous into pits of never - ending fire to
suffer and burn

not to try and convert someone who you felt was bound and determine to
suffer eternity for their beliefs.
This doesn't seem like a long period of time to start with, but
for dogs who
suffer from severe cases of separation anxiety, it can seem like an
eternity.
