i tend to agree that ministries who believe that women should
not teach men should be left alone (because what's the point unless to point out specific abuse?)
If God says women should
not teach men in church then that is the way it should be.
The truth is that the scriptures say that women should
not teach men.
The bible does
not teach men's dominance over women.
I wish I could talk to Paul and find out what he really meant by his «women must
not teach men» teaching.

I don't believe God «fixes» us in the way that you were
taught as a young
man to believe, and I am sorry you had that experience.
my greatest concern is this «new
teaching» on cussing is that I don't see it throughout the life, ministry or
teachings of Jesus or any of the disciples or really any
man God uses in the word... What I do hear Him say is that we will be «judged by every careless word» and that's
not legalism, that's red letter.
The best
man I know is the
man who helps me train at the gym — he helps me with my wraps,
teaches me new technique, and doesn't take it east on me in sparring, because he believes in my capabilities and wants me to improve.
