And you're absolutely right, when you see someone standing with a clipboard watching you, with full attention on you and you only, in say a group exercise, in a group discussion, and see them writing
notes about you, you feel — and I put it in the book «like a
bug in a jar» as if some small child is peering at you with intensity — and that is both a compliment, actually, that they want to attend to you, but also quite unnerving.
On a related
note, one reason it
bugged me so much when anti-Obamacare people would rant
about the contraception mandate and «having to foot someone else's birth control bill» is that it seemed to be based on the premise that men derive no net benefit from contraception whatsoever!
