If their only consideration is money it means they've learnt
nothing from last season and the result will be inevitable..
You guys learned
nothing from last season?
its pretty clear that the main thing i learnt from last night is that Arsene Wenger has learnt
nothing from last season

The improvement in these stats
from last season is
nothing short of amazing, so has our new fitness expert Shad Forsythe had the positive effect that Arsene Wenger brought him to the club for?
Nothing has really changed
from last season.
If you want cold, hard facts, here are his Marcel projections, which use
nothing but stats
from the
last three
seasons and tweaked to account for his age: 163 IP, 3.98 ERA, 3.0 BB / 9, 10.0 K / 9, 23 HR allowed.
«They finished seventh
last season and needed to make big improvements but the way it is being made out, you would think they were the only club who bought big when
nothing could have been further
from the truth.
But the one thing I will never understand is why some people refuse to believe this, it seems to me as if most people on this site may genuinely have «Stockholm syndrome», because the fact that you say «in Arsene we trust» despite the fact that the
last 6 six
seasons (I'm talking about the premier league only) have been a complete and utter catastrophe and in which he has done
nothing but; completely ignore fans frustrations; fail to address squad needs on numerous occasions; ignored the advice
from other footballing experts, and yet you still want him in a job.
i believe there is
nothing special here,
nothing to worry about, your source did» not quote a doctor or anyone in the physio room, apart
from quoting Cazorla himself talking about his difficulties concerning
last season, the rest is just blah blah blah...!!
Feels a bit like a panic buy but if he does
nothing more than push Giroud so we see the player
from the Euros rather that the player who went one - third of
last season without scoring than he's worth every penny.
this
season was supposed to be about the epl not fourth place.just seeing how empty the Emirates was yesterday I expect it to be even worse in the upcoming games.wenger blew it in the transfer market, I think that in itself shows how we lacked ambition and we settled for a top four
from the beginning and if by a chance we managed to win epl then thats it.lossing some games, crucial points and the feedback we got back was just covering the real goals of the club top four.soton home (a team challenging has to win this game), Crystal palace, swansea, just add those points and see where we could and should hve been.everyone here is a die hard arsenal fan whether an akb or aob but fact remains we love the club, we want the club to move forward, we want the club to be a superhouse, its got
nothing to do with wengers
last year or his
last chance of epl.this sort of thinking is running our beloved club to the ground.whether u like it or not a change is needed and a serious one.at the moment we hve so many bogey teams do u think arsene will beat them nxt
season!!!
Don't care what anyone says,
nothing has changed
from last season.
This is an incredibly difficult question to answer for a variety of reasons, most importantly because over the years our once vaunted «beautiful» style of play has become a shadow of it's former self, only to be replaced by a less than stellar «plug and play» mentality where players play out of position and adjustments / substitutions are rarely forthcoming before the 75th minute... if you look at our current players, very few would make sense in the traditional Wengerian system... at present, we don't have the personnel to move the ball quickly
from deep - lying position, efficient one touch midfielders that can make the necessary through balls or the disciplined and pacey forwards to stretch defences into wide positions, without the aid of the backs coming up into the final 3rd, so that we can attack the defensive lanes in the same clinical fashion we did years ago... on this current squad, we have only 1 central defender on staf, Mustafi, who seems to have any prowess in the offensive zone or who can even pass two zones through so that we can advance play quickly out of our own end (I have seen some inklings that suggest Holding might have some offensive qualities but too early to tell)... unfortunately Mustafi has a tendency to get himself in trouble when he gets overly aggressive on the ball...
from our backs out wide, we've seen pace
from the likes of Bellerin and Gibbs and the spirited albeit offensively stunted play of Monreal, but none of these players possess the skill - set required in the offensive zone for the new Wenger scheme which requires deft touches, timely runs to the baseline and consistent crossing, especially when Giroud was playing and his ratio of scored goals per clear chances was relatively low (better
last year though)... obviously I like Bellerin's future prospects, as you can't teach pace, but I do worry that he regressed
last season, which was obvious to Wenger because there was no way he would have used Ox as the right side wing - back so often knowing that Barcelona could come calling in the off -
season, if he thought otherwise... as for our midfielders, not a single one, minus the more confident Xhaka I watched played for the Swiss national team a couple years ago, who truly makes sense under the traditional Wenger model... Ramsey holds onto the ball too long, gives the ball away cheaply far too often and abandons his defensive responsibilities on a regular basis (doesn't score enough recently to justify): that being said, I've always thought he does possess a little something special, unfortunately he thinks so too... Xhaka is a little too slow to ever boss the midfield and he tends to telegraph his one true strength, his long ball play: although I must admit he did get a bit better during some points in the latter part of
last season... it always made me wonder why whenever he played with Coq Wenger always seemed to play Francis in a more advanced role on the pitch... as for Coq, he is way too reckless at the wrong times and has exhibited little offensive prowess yet finds himself in and around the box far too often... let's face it Wenger was ready to throw him in the trash heap when injuries forced him to use Francis and then he had the nerve to act like this was all part of a bigger Wenger constructed plan... he like Ramsey, Xhaka and Elneny don't offer the skills necessary to satisfy the quick transitory nature of our old offensive scheme or the stout defensive mindset needed to protect the defensive zone so that our offensive players can remain aggressive in the final third... on the front end, we have Ozil, a player of immense skill but stunted by his physical demeanor that tends to offend, the fact that he's been played out of position far too many times since arriving and that the players in front of him, minus Sanchez, make little to no sense considering what he has to offer (especially Giroud); just think about the quick counter-attack offence in Real or the space and protection he receives in the German National team's midfield, where teams couldn't afford to focus too heavily on one individual... this player was a passing «specialist» long before he arrived in North London, so only an arrogant or ignorant individual would try to reinvent the wheel and / or not surround such a talent with the necessary components... in regards to Ox, Walcott and Welbeck, although they all possess serious talents I see them in large part as headless chickens who are on the injury table too much, lack the necessary first - touch and / or lack the finishing flair to warrant their inclusion in a regular starting eleven; I would say that, of the 3, Ox showed the most upside once we went to a back 3, but even he became a bit too consumed by his pending contract talks before the
season ended and that concerned me a bit... if I had to choose one of those 3 players to stay on it would be Ox due to his potential as a plausible alternative to Bellerin in that wing - back position should we continue to use that formation... in Sanchez, we get one of the most committed skill players we've seen on this squad for some years but that could all change soon, if it hasn't already of course... strangely enough, even he doesn't make sense given the constructs of the original Wenger offensive model because he holds onto the ball too long and he will give the ball up a little too often in the offensive zone... a fact that is largely forgotten due to his infectious energy and the fact that the numbers he has achieved seem to justify the means... finally, and in many ways most crucially, Giroud, there is
nothing about this team or the offensive system that Wenger has traditionally employed that would even suggest such a player would make sense as a starter... too slow, too inefficient and way too easily dispossessed... once again, I think he has some special skills and, at times, has showed some world - class qualities but he's lack of mobility is an albatross around the necks of our offence... so when you ask who would be our best starting 11, I don't have a clue because of the 5 or 6 players that truly deserve a place in this side, 1 just arrived, 3 aren't under contract beyond 2018 and the other was just sold to Juve... man, this is theraputic because following this team is like an addiction to heroin without the benefits
NOTHING has changed
from last season or
from 3
seasons ago in a much broader sense.
Arsene Wenger has stated previously saying that the start of
last caused the chance of winning the league into vapours and this
season is no different and i believe
nothing can't be done and only sacking of the manager is the best possibility available at this time cause Wenger won't be asked what the fans think of him cause he will say some bullshit stats of Coquelin when actually he started playing only
from 2half of the
season and if he feels that stats are his only option to win an argument then he is adamant and has selfish interest cause the fans pay a lot of money to watch Arsenal play.
I am looking forward to the first game of the
season, there will be
nothing different
from the result we hot
last year against Liverpool.
And real Arsenal fans have seen
nothing in our performances or in the transfers so far to suggest that this
season will be any different
from the
last season, the one before that, and so on, and so on...
We may never know the whole truth and
nothing but the truth about what went on behind the scenes at Arsenal
last season, and what was the thinking behind Arsene Wenger and the Arsenal board and owner as they thought about the future and whether the Frenchman should carry on as manager, although I suspect there may be a book or two coming
from the pen of Le Prof once he has finally left the club which may shed light on the whole saga.
It is probably
nothing more than a coincidence that Arsenal and Chelsea played in the Premier League recently almost an exact year
from what many people see as the turning point in
last season's race to the EPL title.
Last season was an embarrassment for us and the
season before we didn't buy a single (outfield) player, I think it is a bit rich to turn on Sanchez who no one doubts wants to win above all and if we think that buying Lacazette will win us the PL we have learned
nothing from the past.
Our biggest achievement for the
last few years is finishing on top of Liverfool and Spuds, would be ridiculous to name the rest of the league, any Manager with this squad could do that, because of his past glories we come to expect more
from Wenger, what he does instead
nothing sitting in his chest of gold dreaming that he will win this league with the same players and he knows that if that doesn't happen he still will be there next
season pocketing 8M
Late
last season when we were eliminated
from the PL race and effectively
from the fight for 4th we had some good results but again by this time we were playing for
nothing.
There is
nothing to say that the player was thinking about Arsenal, or any club in particular for that matter, when he made these comments about a possible late move
from current club Bayer Leverkusen before the summer transfer window closes in a few weeks, but with the Germans having finished third in the Bundesliga
last season to guarantee a place in the Champions League, you would think that there were not many clubs around Europe that would tempt Javier Hernandez into a move.
There is
nothing to suggest that the team has moved forward
from the fiasco of
last season.
Instead of losing Alexis for
nothing, they gain another attacking player out
from the death trap that is Jose Mourinho (see: Kevin de Bruyne, Mohamed Salah, Romelu Lukaku, Anthony Martial, Memphis Depay, and the pedestrian
season Eden Hazard threw up during Mourinho's
last half -
season at Chelsea his second time around that club) for fucking free!
Last season Burnley posted a bit of a shocking W1 D4 L14 record away
from home in the Premier League and there's really
nothing about their pre-
season which suggests that they are going to come out swinging.
The Spaniard had been out of the team after a string of performances that provided
nothing spectacular
last season, and with so much talent within the squad, it is very hard to stand out
from the rest.
Anyway what is lacking
from the players
last season was committment and this
season we have committed players the players that have left were not committed and everyone says we ai nt doing
nothing yet he has bought 3 internationals
from their respective country who have experience.
So there was
nothing to split these two over the games
from last season and with Leeds in decent opening form and Fulham having drawn both of their games so far in the Championship this
season, this is probably going to be really tight.
He went
from making two total appearances
last season to nine this
season, including six appearances in European play; so if
nothing else, he gained some valuable experience.
As while Chelsea's form over the
last couple of months has been
nothing short of sublime, United have been imperious at home all
season and it will take a herculean effort
from any team to end their outrageous 30 - game unbeaten run at Old Trafford.
