The
change in tempo
in the final third was immediately
noticeable when Giroud came on, it also increased the number of options I mentioned we lacked during the
game.
The
change over was instantly
noticeable, with enemies actually bringing me close to death on a number of occasions even
in the first few levels but luckily the
game gives you all the tools you need to survive the
change of pace.
Given the randomness of the
game - where the first mortar shell
in a barrage lands, if a tank shell penetrates or deflects - these small
changes to stats really aren't
noticeable in -
game.
That's not to say that there isn't a
noticeable grind, though, which I personally feel dilutes the elements of the Elder Scrolls series that have been brought successfully over to this new model; I understand that it's a necessary evil as certain mechanics and the like much be
changed in order to accommodate the addition of the MMORPG components of the
game but these new features often felt like an intrusion upon the established formula rather than complementing it.
With each server reset, there's been a
noticeable change in the way matching making works, whether that's been more regular
games or more predictable lag.
This happened to me
in LP2 and it wasn't the reason I liked the
game so much but it was one of those things I was hoping they had listened to the fans and tried to work out a solution for
in the third release, but sadly there hasn't been much
noticeable changes made.
To that point, there have been a number of
noticeable updates that have,
in fact,
changed the
game for the better on multiple counts.
The other one is AI boost which is meant to put your smartphone on steroids, so apps and
games get faster and more responsive, though we didn't see a
noticeable change in performance.
