notifications on the locked screen once it recognises the user's face.

For iPhone users, new
notifications will pop up
on the
lock screen when
locked, but
once you go to the home
screen or an app, then return to the
lock screen, they're no longer obvious.
But if the
notifications are older, say from the day before, you now need to swipe up
once again,
on both the
Lock screen and the
Notification Center, to view them.
Developers can configure
notifications to show up
on the
lock screen and the home
screen or just the latter, while users can choose to show sensitive information only
once the user has unlocked his or her phone.
