These alerts will display in the
sidebar, but users can also receive pop - up
notifications.
If you want to keep yourself updated, you can subscribe to email
notifications about new blog posts using the widget in the
sidebar!
Once displaying two windows, pull down your
Notification tray and tap on
SideBar Running to remove the
sidebar from view.
You could of course use the social network's website in your browser, but you'll give up the advantages of live tiles, the ability to use the social network in the
sidebar while you browse (as only one browser app can be running at a time), and push
notifications, so the experience just isn't the same.
The Action Center in Windows 10 collects
notifications from Windows and other apps, displaying them in a single pop - up
sidebar you can access from the Windows system tray.
When you've opened the apps you want to use, swipe down from the top of the screen to open the
notification shade and tap the
Sidebar Running
notification.
