Why the media got it for Arsenal, we bottle some
games we
are expected to win, proving some pundits that hates the club right time after time,
games are not comfortably won, last season we had a better away record than home, We have an overall poor result against the big teams for the past 5 years, we haven't won the league for 12 years
now, we haven't made a proper challenge in Europe for 10 years and
on top of it we have an Owner who doesn't care about football, just the money he makes, so many reasons.
I agree with you the players need some heat to perform to theor abilities and stop wasting created opportunities to kill
games and or hold onto leads and i agree they need some heat to kick em in the arse to prevent them from under performing against milan but milan isnt city or chelsea but we need to beat them to get far in competition but i do nt think the players missing chances this year
is whole heartey down to the manager and we need to finish out the year strong but with cazorla comong back and strengthening some spots in off season and
now praying we finally have jack back this squad looks dangerous next year and wenger will have a good year with arsenal next year cazorla and another player will take time off xhaka and or put more pressure
on him to perform but we have had success in recent seasons barley missing out
on top four last year with highest points to ever miss out yes they need heat to perform strong rest
of year but it
is not wengers time to go yet
be needs another season and if these two years
are falling off we have done better than
are rivals in
are tough years

on a number

was the first time we have had a poor start or had lots
of injuries or failed to sign players we need I would agree give Wenger time and a chance to correct but this

of us
are fed up
is this
is the 9th year
now.wenger has no excuses he chose not to buy a DM and CB in the summer when he had the cash to do so, he fails to work
on the defensive side
of the
game and we lose
games we should win, he plays
top players out
of position arshsvin and
now Ozil.
He admits that this had

After this weekend's
games, which saw Liverpool, Tottenham and Man United all win, we

of even getting our pride back by beating the side that has only lost one League
game all season.

now 29 - year - old has won everything there
is to win in the
game, so would bring a wealth

on top of his attacking talents.
I think the reason why maybe half the fans (included me)
are not convinced
of Giroud as our first CF
is that we as club
are or used to
be very depended
on our CF to win as
games and some how have tradition for strikers to thrive in Arsenal (Atletico Madrid
are really good at that) even though they where not world class when bought (unlike Chelsea apart from Drogba and
now Costa) With the midfield we have
now someone like Bony would compete for
top scorer.
He has
been working hard to build
on his match fitness, whilst his physical strength
is sure to
be at the
top of his
game right
now, having had six plus months to work

This
is a decent article, yet the negatives from fans
are still there, I would love to see arsenal like I did at the end
of the 90
's and at the beggining
of the 2nd millennium but it doesn't mean in order to do so I would buy all the best players in world, I would get a rich owner to put his filthy money in, change the manager every 2 years to do so, there
's so much wrong in football nowadays that yes it
's still a sport but there
's more focus
on the filthy amounts
of money
being spent
on clubs and players that I think attracts more attention than the
game itself,
now that
is wrong and it
's very wrong, even our owner though not like the arabs or Russians, yet the yank
is clueless about the tradition
of our
game, it
's just sad, so the fact that Wenger has remained for this long through all these changes that have occurred whilst the money
game has elvolved, it makes me happy that arsenal do not spend stupid amounts
of money
on players, we don't try and buy the league, hell we even tight with wages and transfer fees, I
'm glad it
's like that, though our season ticket
is a rip off I still don't mind it because at least we
are not like the other supreme teams, there
's a bit
of tradition left at our club, yet you go to man shitty or Chelski, there
is no tradition, it
's all about buying ur way all the way to the
top,
on the other hand spuds don't know what to make
of them besides how the heck have they finished above us?
I know that there
is nothing that can
be done about it
now and the fact that Arsenal have not lost a single Premier League
game since then, almost two months ago
now, and
are locked
on the same number
of points with Man City at the
top of the table, makes it easier to bear but I
am still cheesed off that we lost that
game away to Chelsea.
Coaches
are paid to produce results
on the pitch and yo win trophies for the team.If a coach fails those basic things then he
is not go enough and must leave.Sucess or failure comes down to the decisions
of the coach ranging from decisions in the transfer market, training methods, team selection, tactics etc.Looking @ the transfer market - Wenger has a shambolic record - failure to act decisively and always acting when it
's too late, selling our
top players to rival clubs, leaving other positions thin and reinforcing wrong positions especially buying lots
of attacking midfielders ignoring defensive positions and failing to buy
top class strikers or decent strikers. If Wenger
is really serious about winning trophies would he buy a player like Welbeck a fourth choice play at Man United whom Vaan Gaal said
is only good for the bench and
now he plays every
game at Arsenal. Why sell Vemaleen and buy Chambers?
Even though I think that Arsene Wenger
was right to lay a lot
of the blame for Arsenal losing away to Man City before the international break
on the referee and his assistants, the fact
is that we have
now faced three
of last season's
top six and have earned just one point from those
games.
Arsene Wenger
was in
now way suggesting that Arsenal should take it easy in our Champions League group
game at home to PSG tonight, as he has called
on his players to finish the job they have started by already securing a place in the next round by getting the result against the French champions to make sure that we finish
on top of group A.... Read the full article here
I really hope the wheels
are not coming off right
now, i still believe with a couple
of additions in jan, we could still
top the league come may, but smart team selection, and a general rotation
of players will get it done, keep the players sharp, eager and in shape, not sit
on the bench sometimes months
on end and then get thrown into a difficult
game.
Or, to put it in another way, Theo may
be better than Sterling
now (I think he
is when
on top of his
game) but he won't have much resale value in 3 years or so, particularly as he
is injury prone and relies heavily
on pace.
Back
on top for
now but I think we all agree we
are going to have to
be on top of our
game for the next run
of games.
