So this year, after all the recent storms and natural disasters, we began discussing what items we should always have on hand in case disaster strikes, and the following list is what our family
now keeps around the house for emergencies.

Fortunately, while I wish there were more people
around during the day that were available, we are plenty busy between appointments, my projects, and just
keeping up the
house (yuck, you should see my kitchen floor right
now... I'm procrastinating).
We have a flood here in our
house a little over a month ago, so I haven't been
keeping up with things as well as I would prefer, so right
now I'm still trying to catch up... hopefully things will be put back together next week
around here!
Now that my daughter Kate is a little older, she no longer needs toys scattered
around every square foot of our
house to
keep her satisfied and safely supervised, so we're working on
keeping the toys contained to designated play areas.
He may well be living in public
housing at the moment but it has a fence
around it
now, paid for by the taxpayers ($ 250K +) to
keep the public out.
If I stay on this path and
keep earning
around what I am
now I should be able to retire by 50 with my paid off
house and a million dollars in cash.
When my old
house had thirty square feet for the master bedroom, the little trunk was fine for Jay Jay to use for a step, but
now that the room is so crowded, I
kept hitting my legs on it trying to get
around it.
A dog that could barely walk
around the
house is
now out walking three miles a day and
keeping up with his 1 year old rambunctious rescue sister!
