Cottage back in the office, I would sneak off very quietly and go out exploring a local area that I hadn't been to before.

Cottage to come home with a coffee — he's been down the beach with the kiddos early this morning to have a look at the surf (it's a public holiday here Down Under),... there is always much talk here about whether or not it is «good»... I am yet to really tell the difference between good and mediocre surf though I can definitely
now tell when it's rubbish and messy... just call me a surfer girl

white fireplace that we use as the centerpiece of the living room / craft room
now.
I think this type of
cottage style house lends itself to a bit of quirkiness / charm, and
now that all of the walls are stark
white it could use a little personality.
In our new home we went for all
white walls & trim but after living there
now for two months I'm ready for a little more
cottage feel.
Now, the cream is just a bit too peachy, but I have some
cottage white that will go on top of it and it will be perfect.

I can't tell you how many houses «got away» from us, and how many rental frogs we had to kiss before we ended up where we are
now, but I can tell you that I am absolutely smitten with my little ONE story
