of steam, there are musical
numbers of varying success (The in - flight dance to celebrate Jewel's return home is a highlight),
so yes, there are plenty
of songs.
LeFou is certainly camp, but then
so is the rampantly heterosexual Gaston, all preening manliness and slapping
of thigh in best panto tradition in the
song - and - dances
numbers in the tavern.
Perhaps it seems like over-thinking to quibble with the ideological talking points
of a movie that mostly dawdles from one skit or cameo to another, interspersed with the occasional
song - and - dance
number, and which contains one
of the best comic set pieces
of the Coens» career: a director and his recently re-cast lead trying to work through a single awful line
of dialogue («Would that it were
so simple») while filming a turgid melodrama.
The musical
numbers contain just the right blend
of singing and dancing
so that the people in the audience who enjoy watching a performer burst into
song will find themselves completely satisfied, while the dance aficionados will also be much entertained.

song called Friends by Hyper Potions, two talented remix musicians who have done a

I was given requests for a

so in that sense it wasn't much different to how I usually approach music for games.
