Since that time, she has been featured in over fifteen one - person exhibitions and has received numerous awards including the College Art Association Award for Distinguished Teaching of Art (1996), and the Honor Award for Achievement in the Visual Arts from the National Women's Caucus for Art (1983).
Hockney received the gold medal for his last year at London's Royal College of Art in 1962, the first of numerous accolades accrued in his career.
A graduate of Columbia University (New York) and Bennett College (Greensboro, NC), this sculptor has received numerous awards and honors, including a Distinguished Alumni Citation Award (1997) from Bennett College, National Endowment for the Arts Fellowship (1994 and 1980), The Pollock - Krasner Foundation Award (1994), and John Simon Guggenheim Fellowship (1980).
Gillick has been the subject of numerous exhibitions, including a retrospective at the Hessel Museum of Art at Bard College in 2012, as well as solo shows at institutions including the Museum of Contemporary Art in Chicago (2009), Rotterdam's Witte de With (2008), Kunsthalle Zurich (2008), the Palais de Tokyo in Paris (2005), and the Museum of Modern Art (2003).
Since 2014, the Foundation has lent work to numerous exhibitions at museums, ranging from the Turner Contemporary in Margate, UK, and the Royal Academy of Arts in London, to American institutions including the Albright - Knox Art Gallery, the Des Moines Art Center, The Rose Art Museum at Brandeis University, the Parrish Art Museum, the New Britain Museum of American Art, the Hunter College Art Gallery, and the Denver Art Museum.
He has had solo exhibitions at museums and galleries throughout the US, and has been included in numerous group exhibitions throughout the US and in Africa, and is in collections including the Baltimore Museum of Art; Corcoran Museum of Art; Experimental Printmaking Institute, Lafayette College; Howard University Gallery of Art; National Gallery of Art; and The Studio Museum in Harlem, among many others.
Maureen Chatfield (b. Carmel, NY) has studied at numerous institutions including the Art Students League, New York; Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts, Philadelphia; Fashion Institute of Technology, New York; and Hunter College, New York.
