This is a bit of a generalization based
on children I've known over the past few years, but it seems that
children who are over the age of 15 — 18 months or so when the milk dries up have such an emotional attachment to

on breastfeeding because they believe something to be true that really isn't true and I don't want you to be robbed of the opportunity to

children (if you want to) because you believe something that really isn't true.
At this age, your
child should be able to drift off
on his own at night without being rocked,
nursed, or otherwise lulled to sleep.
Do not try to
nurse on a rigid schedule but provide milk whenever your
child starts to show signs of hunger including mouthing, increased alertness or rooting.
Note that Claritin does not have any ill effects
