I already had some of Bob's Red Mill gluten - free muesli (it's a breakfast favorite around
here) and thought I'd come up with a completely
allergy - free version of energy bites — meaning, no
nuts, gluten, or dairy.
Paleo friends simply use in your fave almond (or
nut butter of choice) in place of the PB and any of you folks with
nut allergies you can easily make them
nut free — sunbutter (or your fave
nut free spread) would work perfectly
here too!

By the way, I wish I lived in Fort Collins — there are people where I live (NJ) that ban peanuts in any form in elementary schools
here because of
allergies, even though there are precautions taken to have those with
nut allergies sit at a separate table so they are not affected.

here in Australia continue to be
nut free (while ignoring dairy, egg, kiwi etc
allergies which can also be fatal).
