There are no peanuts in the recipe, unless you choose to use peanut butter for
the nut butter in the recipe.
It is such a great substitute for
nut butters in recipes for those who can't eat nuts (like me)!

any nut butter in this recipe — almond, peanut, cashew etc..
In general I find it works best with
a nut butter in the recipe too, that tends to create a much more defined crumb.
If I just think about how often I use
nut butters in my recipes, I get a bit scared about the fact that these kind of things might catch me, eventually.
I never really use
nut butters in recipes (aside from plain old Jiffy peanut butter) because I LIKE having them just in their jars on hand whenever I want some.
If you want to make them a bit sweeter you could also add some mini chocolate chips, but, the honey and
nut butter in this recipe makes them plenty sweet enough for my taste.

in my sweet
recipes and baking too, for example
nut butters, avocado and coconut oil.
My favourite
nut butter is almond
butter and I include so many other
nuts into my
recipes so don't really feel the need for peanuts as well as they aren't very high
in nutrients.

recipes using
nut butter do you use raw or toasted and do you make your own?
Hi, sadly I only measure
nut butter in teaspoons or tablespoons so for this
recipe I used 3 tablespoons.
I understand if it doesn't work for you though
in my
recipes I often use it for the specific sweetness or stickiness, so sometimes
nut butters (almond, cashew or tahini) can work as a substitute or other oils (olive) or other sticky beauties (dates, figs etc).

We do use chunky soy
nut butter, soy milk, and brown sugar

recipe (this is due to my 4 year old having severe food allergies.
Now this

I followed this
recipe word for word and when the cashew paste got into pan with the sugar and started heating up, all the fat separated out and it left a clump of
nut -
butter and sugar sitting
in a pool of oil.
My kind of snack is grabbing a spoon and a tub of peanut
