I look at Nathan's gluten allergy with a positive spin
since he is anaphalactic to
nuts he will never take a
cookie from anyone, which will reduce his odds of having that one
cookie which has been contaminated with
nuts risking his life.
The salt from the
nuts is just right in the
cookie batter, and
since most macadamias are sold that way, it adds a secret fourth ingredient to your 3 - ingredient
cookies.
Really, for these
cookies you can sub any
nut butter you like, but I think almond is lovely... (ha,
since I have been living in the UK, I have noticed I've been using that word more!)
This is one of my absolute favorite make - ahead breakfasts,
since I feel great about what's inside them (almond and coconut flours, raw
nuts and seeds, coconut oil and eggs) and my kids think they're actually eating «
cookies» for breakfast.
I imagine these
cookies would work well but I am unfortunately avoiding almond flour
since it seems our youngest has a sensitivity / allergy to

since so many don't like
nuts, I usually leave them out.
This is basically a recipe of dark chocolate, butter, cream and
nuts - I'll save myself the trouble (and it was A LOT of work) and have a chocolate bar instead:) I gave it two stars instead of one
since the flavor of the

cookies since they pack in the fiber but also flavor, nutrition, and bits of
nuts and raisins (you can omit the
nuts if you like, though).
Since most of my
cookie recipes contain some sort of
nut, I feel bad that he can't eat all of the treats my other 14 nephews and nieces get to enjoy.
The mom and daughter made the homemade
cookie cake together, using special chocolate produced in a facility with no
nuts since her little sister has a
nut allergy.
Not to mention,
since the chickpeas and
nut butter replace flour and regular butter, these
cookies are protein powerhouses.
