Sometimes though I do like to add a few extra
spices too — it's lovely with a teaspoon
of ground cardamom, and a

I added a

Spice» mix is available at the grocery store, as it makes this recipe as fast as possible, but if you can't locate a pre-made jar, simply make your own by using a heaping 1/4 teaspoon
of ground cinnamon, an 1/8 teaspoon
of ground ginger, and a
pinch of ground
nutmeg to replace the 1/2 teaspoon called for in this recipe.
For one serving
of pudding, you'll need a half - cup
of coconut milk, 1 very ripe banana, 1 tablespoon liquid sweetener (like agave or honey; I like brown rice syrup), 2 tablespoons chia seeds, a
pinch of salt, and a dash
of cinnamon,
nutmeg, or any other baking
spice you like.

nutmeg, allspice and ground ginger and a
pinch of cloves.
And just when you could easily eat this entrée on its own, De Laurentiis also includes her own sauce
of butter, whole milk, and a
pinch of nutmeg for extra
spice.
Spice it up even more with 1/4 teaspoon ginger powder and a
pinch of nutmeg.
You can serve it with ghee, coconut oil, or pastured butter,
spices like cinnamon and
nutmeg, and a
