I'm not sure if this is the same brand you're referring to, but I recently came across Sari brand
nutritional yeast which does not fortify and is certified non GMO which is cool too.
In terms of cheese and stuff, I haven't really tried any soya cheese but I've invested in a box of
nutritional yeast which is apparently really good to make your own cheese sauce with so I'm gonna try that out.

By definition,
nutritional yeast is deactivated

I love the fact that you don't have to use
