Mix the
oats,
nut milk, 1/2 a cup of water and a pinch of salt in a saucepan and start to warm it
over a medium heat.
But I kept it very simple by spreading the macadamia
nut icing with the help of the butter knife on the baked cherry
oats and poured the blueberry sauce evenly
over the baked square.
Place the
nuts,
oats and coconut in a small pan

over the baking sheets and spread evenly with a spatula, then season lightly with sea salt 7) Bake for 15 minutes, then stir the granola gently (to make sure all sides are cooked) 8) At this point, you may need to switch the baking sheets (if you are using 2) so the granola cooks evenly 9) Bake for another 15 minutes, then stir again, before cooking for a final 15 minutes or until golden brown 10) Remove granola from the oven and place on cooking racks until completely cool and crisp 11) Store granola in air - tight containers at room temperature.
Then boil water and pour it
over your
oats,
nuts and seeds.
I melt a little butter and warm some maple syrup in a small saucepan, mix in a little vanilla and a pinch of salt and pour the sweet, melted goodness
over my
oats / coconut /
nut mixture.

over a dollop of soy yoghurt on the top.

oats by Rude Health, and because they are super fine and flaky, they blend effortlessly into smoothies thickening them up without the need for extra banana or
nut butter... not that there is anything wrong with either of those ingredients, it's just that sometimes you don't want hugely bananary smoothie and sometimes you want a few extra carbs
over fats.
A super quick way to toast
nuts, coconut, and
oats is to do it
over the stove.
Or, make your own with healthied up ingredients, like: «bark» made with melted dark chocolate drizzled
over dried fruit and
nuts; mock cobbler made with warmed fresh fruit topped with a crumble made from
oats, cinnamon, and almond butter; frozen pops made with coconut milk, fruit, and dark chocolate; or brownies made with chickpea flour instead of all purpose.
