recipe using the ingredients in grams... (240g of
oats etc), I've made LOADS of mixture!
In this
recipe I
used normal
oats, but you can also
use gluten free ones.
I couldn't find sunflower seeds, so just went with the
recipe as posted (substituted some of more expensive ingredients — honey for maple syrup, different type of date), but will
use suggestion of upping
oats next time to see how it goes.
I am celiac and never try

using frozen berries in overnight
oats is that after they sit in the fridge overnight (or all day), they release these amazing juices and make the entire

My Mum is strictly gluten free and I have
used just regular rolled
oats in these balls before and other
recipes and she has no issues, as the gluten in
oats is quite low.
I've actually been
using a
recipe for steel cut
oats in the crock pot that you included in a WIAW post (I think) and I am LOVING it.
It combines peanut butter, honey,
oats and grains, but feel free to
use any kind of nut, grains, seeds or even dried fruit in the mixture — just stick to the quantities in the
recipe, and you'll get a different kind of energy bars each and every time.

oats that I
used are quick - cook
oats which are great to
use in overnight oat
recipes since they turn out really thick and creamy (not too chewy).

recipes i make are never banana - y enough, i doubled the bananas,
used greek yogurt insteaf of oil,
used all brown sugar to sweeten (figured all that banana moisture did nt need syrup moisture) and instead of millet added 2 handfuls of coconut, 1 handful of
oats, and a handful of sesame seeds — still not quite maui, but best ive ever made!
First, I always toast my
oats with butter and canola oil, no matter what

oats, they're gluten free, and have no need for me to adjust flours.
