oats used here in these cookies, the rolled oats used most often in my breakfast, and the steel cut oats I use for extra special cozy mornings.

I made these muffins
using Banana Bench Pressed
Oats — a «cereal blend»
here in the UK that contains
oats, chopped dates, and banana flakes.
The topping does call for
oats though — you can either
use very pricey certified GF
oats, but I also bet that quinoa flakes would work just fine
here.
2 cups blanched almond flour — I
use Honeyville brand, it works the best 2 cups rolled
oats (not instant)-- certified gluten - free if you are intolerant 1 cup fresh pumpkin puree (canned will also work) 1 teaspoon baking powder 1 teaspoon baking soda 1/2 teaspoon salt 1/2 cup grapeseed oil (olive oil, melted coconut oil or ghee would also work) 1/2 cup organic local honey (maple syrup would be great
here, too) 1 large farm fresh brown egg (or egg replacement of your choice) 1 1/2 teaspoons ground cinnamon 1 teaspoon ground nutmeg 1 teaspoon vanilla extract 3/4 cup raisins (dried cranberries or mini chocolate chips would also be delicious) 1 1/2 tablespoons flaxseed (optional)
I
use rolled
oats here, but for grinding into flour either works just fine and I
use them interchangeably.
Here are some substitutions I made: I made my own grain and seed blend
using quinoa,
oats, wheat germ, caraway, anise, chia and sunflower seeds.
There is one I
used to buy in a coffee shop
here that had
oats, chocolate chips and coconut flakes... Next time I try this recipe I might try throwing in some because that was my ultimate favorite cookie.

use a combination of sunflower seeds and whole
oats instead — ground up
using a food processor, the same as seen
here with almonds.
I'm obsessed with blender muffins and I love the
use of
oats here, the flavor combo sounds so good.
I
use the protein for my post-workout meals which is either proats (protein

oats, millet, rice and corn), and this four grain version (made from simply wheat, rye, barley and
oats) I've
used here.

oats pasta
here, so I allowed...
Just
use additional
oats in place of the almonds and either white or Bob's Red Mill 1 - to - 1 Baking Flour (cheaper
here) in place of the almond flour.
Here are my favorite snacks, many of which are dairy / soy free and easily adaptable to other special diets... Energy bites Balls consisting of
oats, nut butter (I do peanut butter), ground flax seeds, chocolate chips (I
use dairy / soy free chips), toasted coconut, honey, and vanilla extract.
The only possible exception is minimal
use of
oats here and there (only 5 out of 100 recipes in PRD, for example), but of course, just grab gluten - free
oats.
I haven't tried to
use anything
here but
oats.
