So, training a dog is like building
skills to do something... thus, I teach things such as
obedience, therapy dogs, and scent / tracking.
You may find basic
obedience to be
so enjoyable that you'll want to continue training and teaching your dogs new
skills.

so that if the owners or dogs
skills get rusty, we can polish them up.
Our goal is to tailor this workshop to meet the needs of the students enrolled,
so it changes each time, and we may cover a wide variety of
obedience skills and social behaviors.
However, if you speak to
obedience instructors, most will admit that they have taken their dogs to some classes — even if it is their own —
so that their dogs learn to work amid distraction, get socialization, and improve their own
skills.

So, that's why other trainers shouldn't say that a dog has completed Puppy, Basic, Intermediate and Advanced

obedience skills and acquire experience.

so much from Sydney about how to interact with my puppy, and how to teach my puppy
skills beyond just regular
obedience training.

skills!
