If prayer worked, everyone would do it,
because prayerful people would experience better health, less divorce, fewer children on
drugs, greater success, lower death rates, less
obesity... there would be no war or starvation or murdered babies.
They're less likely to use
drugs or get into trouble with police and —
because they log less screen time — at a lower risk of
obesity.
Yet, lately, the last couple of decades, it's been going up,
because we've been using more powerful
drugs and surgical procedures to deal with the consequences of our diet, of
obesity, of insulin resistance.
