Much like Star Wars Battlefront before it, players find themselves blasting through iconic Star Wars locations in
objective based gameplay.
Though not necessarily scary or challenging, the game is more of a casual shooter experience without the expectation of intense
objective based gameplay.

Absolutely dripping with Paul Verhoven style satire, Helldivers combines a range of

based missions with a nifty
gameplay system called «Strategems», allowing players to input a series of commands to call down anything from extra ammo and scout drones through to APC's and hulking great mechs.

You would be forgiven for expecting a title that was somewhat similar to Evolution Studios» excellent Motorstorm series (from the PlayStation 3 era), however, Onrush is a different beast thanks to its team -
based objective - focused
gameplay.
My personal favourite of these domination
based gameplays is a variation were the defenders have a set amount of lives that are used when the defenders respawn and are distributed over two
objectives to defend.
Capture the Flag has returned to the Sniper Elite series, offering players an
objective focussed game with more speed and teamwork
based gameplay.
It's still fun to play through the main campaign however, as the
gameplay is still very solid even though it plays pretty much the same as other CoD games, with players running about chaotic battlefields and taking out tons of enemy soldiers while completing
objectives, such as capturing a
base, holding a position and facing off against waves of enemies, avoiding snipers, destroying enemy equipment, and more.
Both game types feature
objective -
based gameplay and, while they can be done solo, beg to be played with friends.
Opting to
base itself around a series of central
objectives rather than the classic premise of surviving as many waves as possible, this version of zombies plays more like a story - driven mission than modes of the past and it's integrated well into the
gameplay despite how farfetched it becomes.

Gameplay is still
objective based, and the number of
objectives scales with the difficulty setting, providing replay value beyond a single playthrough.
Blizzard's first - ever attempt at a shooter is an absolute knockout, pairing a wide array of distinctive heroes with dazzling graphics and
objective -
based gameplay.
Onrush sets itself apart from other arcade racers thanks to doing away with the finishing line (and any racing positions) in favour of
objective -
based gameplay that will see you working together to beat the opposing team.
As for
gameplay, Overwatch is similar to Team Fortress 2 with each round containing team -
based objectives such as defending your
base or capturing checkpoints.
Each Battle Arena is unique to the world of the character used to unlock it and features competitive split - screen local
gameplay for up to four players, with four exciting
gameplay modes including Capture the Flag,
Objective,
Base Bash, and Tick, Tag, Boom!.
There's also the Challenge Mode, where the player can do a survival -
based boss rush, or Subject Mode, where the player is tasked with achieving certain
objectives during the course of
gameplay.
Riot: Civil Unrest is an interesting game by Leonard Menchiari that blends real - world protests from recent history with
objective based strategy
gameplay.
Ultimately Shoot The Zombirds feels much like the first title, but its incredibly haunting visuals, small, but significant
gameplay tweaks and
objective -
based multiplier upgrades make this a hard game to put down, but returning players will feel the inevitable burnout much sooner than newer players.
Battlefront II comes with various
gameplay types, including close quarters combat,
objective -
based scenarios, and all - out Hero warfare, but you'll probably spend most of your time either in its 20 vs. 20 Galactic Assault mode, or 12 vs. 12 Starfighter Assault mode.
