Invasion is a bit more strategic, the main
objective of this game mode is to control the game map by capturing outposts scattered around the map.
Not exact matches
The
game also has a one - on - one multiplayer
mode, but I didn't find it to be too fun, because first off, the
objective of the
mode itself is boring, and you can only choose from a predetermined weapon and gear setup.
The only thing that bugs me is the lack
of any New
Game +
mode, but other than that, lots
of replay value due to multiple endings and different approaches to each
objective.
Medal
of Honor plays like most FPS online
games with some nice
modes to play like Team Assault,
Objective Raid, Combat Mission and Sector Control.
Even though the main
objective is kill or be killed, Evolve does come with four different
game modes that vary up the
game play slightly, first
of which is Hunt
mode which is a straight forward 4 v 1 death match.
The five
game modes are all
objective based, two involve holding points on the map and two are variations
of capture the flag.
Most
of these
modes and
game - types will feel familiar to those that played the first
game (or just any competitive shooter in general), but even with their basic
objectives, the additional
modes offer a refreshing change
of pace for those looking to go outside
of Turf War (and into more competitive - minded) gameplay.
The Gardens & Graveyards
mode in the upcoming Plants Vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare is an
objective - based multiplayer
mode in which the Zombies must capture Plants bases so we can watch five more minutes
of gameplay footage from one
of my most anticipated Xbox One
games.
With that said, there are three main gameplay
modes that includes Screamrider, Demolition Expert and Engineer (which are the career
modes) and each has a set

game set in six different fun and colourful locations.
The Scenario
mode is an

mode of Surviving Mars no longer entertains you, the
game has a set
of «Mysteries
of Mars» storylines which add additional
objectives and a narrative frame to the

The screenshots showcase some
of the playable characters and levels (and the new vehicles), while the trailer shows us some
of the new
game modes, including online split screen, and «battle arenas», where the there are more
objectives than just winning the race.
Later
games introduced
modes like «Ring Shot,» where players can earn points by hitting the ball through rings
of varying sizes; «Item Battle,» where characters use items based on the Mario universe to interfere with each other's
game and gain an advantage; and special minigames where the player can meet a tennis - related
objective, incorporating themes from past Nintendo
games.

It's no secret that co-op
mode was one
of our original
objectives for State
of Decay, because the
game currently codenamed «Class4» is an online world.
In this
mode the player has the opportunity to play a sort
of adventure

objective of this adventure is all customized by you, the player.
Fatal Flash is a Competitive, 2D Online Mutliplayer Brawler that features lightning - paced, movement - heavy combat, numerous Archetypes («Champions») with hundreds
of customization options, and varied
game modes and
objectives - all rendered in hand - drawn, steampunk - inspired pixel art.
Yet this is not an opinion I'm going to let color this review or effect my score
of the
game, instead I'm going to drop back into a more
objective mode, because the biggest problem with Gigolo
mode is that it's just really bloody boring from a gameplay perspective.
There's a tutorial
mode to help guide you through the basics
of the
game before moving into a singleplayer campaign where you're given a series
of objectives, like selling X amount
of copies
of one
game, for example.
Those
of you who have played maps like Verdun Heights or Fort de Vaux on larger,
objective - based
game -
modes such as Operations or even Rush will know that these smaller maps suffered from massive imbalance.
Then there are the 2 v 2 Brawl matches, which follow the same «best
of 5» format as the Duels; last on this list is the 4 v 4 Dominion
game mode, which pits 8 players in two teams (obviously) against one another in a small, 3 -
objective domination format battle.
The main
objective in all
of the
game's
modes is to cover everything in paint, not frag your opponents like in other shooters.
It shipped with 22 maps (unheard
of today) along with 7 unique and
objective - based
game modes that really emphasized the importance
of teamwork.
While I had no problem wrapping my mind around the
objective - based
modes on display in Splatoon, I can see this
game being unappealing to the typical shooter fan who sucks at understanding how to play this kind
of game type.
Some

game modes are «Controlled,» «Demolition.»
This year, experience a brand new
game mode: Pro Leader, where you create your own rider and bring him to the top
of his career by completing
objectives to improve and gain new responsibilities from season to season!
As
of now, there are three
game modes: Capture, which sees two teams fighting over three
objective points, Meltdown, which tasks both teams to help their minions reach an enemy incinerator to score points, and Incursion, where teams try to destroy mechs at their opponents base with the help
of AI units.
Opening and closing doors in particular can be almost completely ignored if you aren't playing an
objective - based team
game, since there's no real need to restrict the enemy team from an area
of a map in a deathmatch
mode.
From previous Battlefields, Conquest was a large - scale
game mode with up to 64 players fighting for the control
of key
objectives.
The use
of microphones to communicate, the incredible variety
of quality maps, and a plethora

game modes had us playing just about every night.

of Ghostly Horizon is cooperation, some

Overrun in Versus is the other class - based
game mode that pits COG and Locust soldiers in a head - to - head battle
of objectives where both teams» alternate factions to defend and attack.
The
game requires the cooperation
of all
of your teammates in order to complete some
of the
objective based
modes.

mode that lets teams
of two compete in a couple
of different
games, like warzone, which gives you a map and drops random
objectives onto it.
Build your own train sets at will, or enjoy the set
game modes which boast a variety
of objectives for you to complete.
The new
game mode is an
objective - based 4 on 4 struggle to control an access point somewhere towards the center
of the map.
Even though
modes like Survival and Overwatch only have 2 and 3 maps respectively (something that will hopefully be addressed via the free maps and
modes set to be included as part
of the
game's content drops), these maps are unique in their own right and offer limitless options with which to tackle your
objectives.
