However when it comes to
observational painting there is a curious paradox; I feel deeply connected to the natural world but disconnected to doing something to protect it.
I started my training as an artist
through observational painting and drawing, and that seems, for me, right now, a more complicated problem than that of making abstract paintings.
I think people respond to
