Not exact matches
I love the color and flavor
of acorn squash, and I use pumpkin
here and there, but taking down a pumpkin can put me in a foul mood.
Here, brown rice is used for a bit
of extra whole grain goodness and just a hint
of earthy sweetness, which complements the
acorn squash wonderfully.
A little spicy, a little sweet and a lot
of flavors are
here to accompany this beautiful little
acorn squash.
The census turned up more than 6,000 new species candidates, including the pair depicted
here: an
acorn worm from the deeps
of the North Atlantic, and a polychaete worm (right) found on a whale carcass near Japan.
To add some shine, texture, and warmth to the table I used votive candles in varying heights in metallic gold with a scatter
of acorns, some
of which were found in my yard under the oaks (that were spray painted in my favorite gold spray paint I recently wrote about
here) combined with a store bought scatter mix (found
here).
I am going to start my collection
of giant
Acorns so as to be ready for the «week»
of fall that we have
here in Arizona!
Since we are heading into Fall (it has been quite cool
here the past few days in southeast, Michigan (low 60's for the highs), and the post you did with the velvet pumpkins are just beautiful, I would choose the large set
of the Velvet Pumpkin Inspired (just love those colors) and toss in a few velvet
acorns (swoon!).
