Callaloo Throughout the Caribbean markets, you can find piles
of hairy, dusty root vegetables called dasheen.
Callaloo and saltfish is typically served for breakfast but I'll eat it at any time
of the day.
I decided to bring one
of my favorite Jamaican dishes, Jamaican
Callaloo and Saltfish, to this virtual potluck for all my virtual friends to enjoy.
Haitian stews are mainstays too, especially
Callaloo, the concoction
of taro, a leafy root vegetable, okra, crab and coconut milk.
