It's time to play catch up with Capcom's series
of Celestial Brush and Demon Introduction clips for Okami HD, which have been trickling out as we build up to the December launch of the latest remaster.
Another reason I enjoyed PC better is the use
of the celestial brush; the main ability in Okami.
Join the Sun goddess Amaterasu in the form of a wolf as she travels a beautiful water color style Japan and wards off evil with the use

Even the obvious addition
of a touch screen to draw commands with the
celestial brush was underwhelming since the action takes place on the non-touch sensitive top screen, meaning you have to wait a second for the action to drop down to the bottom screen.

of the Wii Remote as Amaterasu's «
Celestial Brush» to paint the desired powers for decimating enemies and solving puzzles.

of offensive weaponry, each with their own unique abilities and effects.
Okami gave me a sense
of wonder from its world but especially the gameplay with the
Celestial Brush technique and its epic plot.
Most
of them focus on the
Celestial Brush, so watch as Amaterasu uses its special techniques to cut down objects and create a handy waterspout in the clips after the jump.
Controlling the
Celestial Brush (long story short: Amaterasu can alter reality by painting on it; this is one
of the core game mechanics in Okami) is quite simple with the Move, as long as you have the system set up correctly.
