A simple aromatherapy formula is 2
drops of clary sage oil, 1 drop of geranium oil and 1 drop of ylang ylang oil.

I like to
think of clary sage Salvia sclarea (L.) essential oil as «clearing» away the dark clouds of our mood, as it's traditionally been known for its uplifting and euphoric actions.

The predominant
compounds of clary sage oil are linalyl acetate and linalool, identically to lavender oil, and lavender essential oil can increase collagen formation in wounds and suppress pro-inflammatory chemicals behind acne called neutrophils on the skin's surface.
Plant Therapy never uses hexane or other harsh chemical solvents to extract the oil from the leaves, instead opting for the steam distillation method, which is both safer and preserves
more of the clary sage plant's compounds.
How - to: If you have excruciating cramping, menstrual or not, add a few
drops of clary sage to a carrier oil and rub on the pain point.
I use aromatherapy
oils of clary sage (muscle relaxant, anti-stress and helps ease pain) and lavender (to calm and relax) during the first part of labor.
I add 3 drops
of clary sage, 2 drops of chamomile, 2 drops of geranium and 2 drops of lavender to a warm bath.
In a 4 - ounce glass spray bottle, combine 20 drops
each of clary sage and wild orange, and then fill to the top with water.
I use 6 drops of lavender, 3 drops
each of clary sage and 3 drops of rose oil.
Stress Release — 5 drops each of Vertiver and Lavender, or 6 drops of Lavender and 4 of Chamomile, or 4 drops
each of Clary Sage and Geranium.
For the study, a blend containing one drop of rose, two drops of lavender, one drop
of clary sage, and 5 cc of almond oil was applied in form of an abdominal massage.
