I just made these — but used
coconut sugar and homemade «
jam» (frozen blackberries and raspberries, honey, and a tad
of cornstarch in a pot on the stove) for less sugar content.
Kaya, a pale - greenish
jam of coconut, egg, sugar, and pandan leaf, is a sweet spread that's layered on top
of toast.
Remove pot from heat and check
jam for sweetness — I prefer my
jam as is, with the 2 tablespoons
of coconut sugar, but add more to your desired sweetness level!
Fluffy and light banana muffins swirled with homemade

Cow's milk would work just fine As for a topping, what about a little drizzle
of honey, pure maple syrup,

of shelled hazelnuts, more or less finely chopped
1 cup organic non-hydrogenated vegetable shortening 1 1/2 cups powdered sugar, sifted 2 tablespoons gluten - free all - purpose flour blend
of choice 1/2 cup canned full - fat
coconut milk (well mixed) 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract 1/4 cup raspberry
jam, heated and strained to equal 2 tablespoons (cool to room temperature)
In case you're unfamiliar with what kaya is, it's basically a type
of jam - like spread made
of coconut milk, eggs, and sugar, after which it is flavored with pandan leaves, which lends it a dark green color.
Or pre-cool your can
of full fat
coconut cream (I use Native Forest brand) and skim the thick cream off
of the top — then blend that with a sweetener and
jam.
Add almond milk, Better Than Soy Milk Powder,
coconut flour, agave, and raspberry
jam to the bowl
of a food processor.
I feel like you could possibly make an «icing» with a plant based saturated fat food like thick
coconut cream blended with maple syrup or agave plus a teaspoon
of jam.

of coconut oil, melted 1/4 cup
of maple syrup 1 1/2 teaspoons

I used a base similar to the raw donut hole recipe, spread on a layer
of raw raspberry
jam, and topped with crumbled walnuts, dried
coconut & cacao nibs.
With rich flavor from the tangy kefir, nutty whole wheat flour and hint
of coconut, these biscuits are so delicious you might just skip the butter (although with a little strawberry rhubarb
jam — wow!).
Once the
coconut cream has hardened, place 1/2 tsp raspberry
jam in the center
of each one, then cover with the remaining
coconut cream mixture.
So I also made a version
of these using
coconut oil instead
of butter and that is also the reason I made the apricot
jam with agave instead
of honey (which is my preference).
Right now, my go - to breakfast is vanilla yogurt with a small spoon
of homemade
jam swirled in, plus whatever fresh fruit is on hand, and a big handful
of coconut granola.

of my homemade honey - sweetened strawberry
jam to create a lovely cake that is perfect for birthdays, anniversaries, Valentine's Day, or any other special occasion.
I love Kelly's chocolate
coconut thumbprint cookies, and I wanted to make a variation
of them with berry
jam and lemon curd instead
of chocolate.
For a while I've been wanting to see if I could create a homemade version
of Arnott's famous biscuit with its fluffy pink marshmallow on the sides sprinkled with desiccated
coconut with a raspberry
jam stripe down the centre.
The combination
of coconut and orange
jam is so refreshing that it screams SPRING.
Although it goes perfectly with cashew
coconut glaze, it would be great with any sort
of icing,
jam or spread (I'm thinking definitely healthy nutella).
I debated between trying this recipe and one for carrot
jam; it was the hefty dose
of coconut in these truffles that sealed the deal.

These
coconut jam thumbprint cookies are one
of my favorite ways to use
coconut flour!
Easy to make and delicious when slathered with
coconut oil or butter and spoonfuls
of jam.
Once the
coconut cream has hardened, place 1/2 teaspoon raspberry
jam in the center
of each one, then cover with the remaining
coconut cream mixture.
They may allow slight variations for the addition
of a complementary flavour or a dash
of alcohol — Cointreau and orange zest, Frangelico and a few hazelnuts, rum and
coconut, Chambord and raspberry
jam, brandy, chilli, mint, almond, ginger — but pumpkin or choc chip cookie or red velvet would send them into a tizzy.
I'm going to try a batch
of blueberry chia seed
jam for some
coconut and lemon waffles I've been experimenting with these past couple weeks.
Take the blueberry
jam our
of the refrigerator and spread it on top
of the
coconut creme in another even layer.
